I recently visited Taco Bamba near Mumbai Central Indian Cuisine in the Idylwood / Pimmit Hills area after a friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I did! I honestly went in thinking it’s just another taco place, but wow—this place surprised me in the best way.

We tried the grilled chicken made in butter (something we Indians would literally call butter chicken ) and they serve this in both tacos and a salad form. I was fascinated by the concept and honestly, the flavor delivered! The tacos with the same butter grilled chicken were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced.

The staff was amazing—super friendly and they prepared such a nice salad for me. The quantity of the salad is huge (around $15) and totally worth it. The tacos are around $5.5 each plus tax, so very budget friendly considering the quality you get.

The location is convenient, the service is great, and food was genuinely amazing. I’ll definitely come back again to try other items on the menu. Highly recommended if you’re in or around Falls Church and craving something flavorful, fresh, and unique.

My wife craves Taco Bamba. Their Gringo taco with ground beef, cheese, etc. hits the spot every time. We order it on a flour tortilla and the tortilla is perfectly fried. The tacos are pretty big and two fill you up. There’s also a salsa bar that we appreciate. Our eight-year-old daughter loves their rice and beans!

Ordered three different types of tacos and the street corn with side of cheese and chips and it was really good. It took a little while to make but worth the wait. It was a great price point for the quality of food. If its nice out I would suggest to eat outside instead of inside due to the your cloths smelling like the kitchen.

Awesome street style tacos here. They have all the meet styles you might be looking for.
Tried a few al pastor, carnitas, and the taco bamba. The taco bamba was in the specialty section among other tacos that have additional toppings.

They’ve also got 4 different sauces to self serve. All were very good in their own unique way.

Generally good. Ordered to go today and they forgot to add pineapple to the al pastor tacos so had to go back and ask. Also they gave me cheese with mold on it which is just gross. Make sure to always check your food if you order here.

Simply delicious of all the items we have ever ordered! The menu can be a bit intimidating since it’s really long with many creative flavors that we have never tried in any other place. Just order a bunch of their creative taco flavors & you won’t be disappointed!

I tried Taco Bamba at this Falls Church location for the first time, and the food was good. The Lengua De Res Taco was ok, and the Shrimp Quesadilla had a perfect balance of flavors from the shrimp and cheese.

In terms of service, it’s a self-service restaurant. You pay, receive a number, and wait to be called when your order is ready.

The restaurant felt smaller than I expected. The seating inside faced the wall or the kitchen, and the music was very loud. Outdoor seating is available.

It was a good. Meat was a bit over cooked though. I had the Taco Bamba taco and El beso. Service was quick. Not a bad place if you need a quick stop but there are definitely better taco places.

Guac is very good.

Taco Bamba is a go-to spot in Falls Church if you love tacos. The flavors are bold and the portions are generous. Favorites include the carne asada and al pastor, but the unique options like the El Beso are definitely worth trying. The vibe is casual and fun, with friendly staff and a handy salsa bar to customize your meal. It can get busy, but the food is worth the wait.
