We were really lucky to meet Austrian/Germany people whom told us the restaurant is really good.
At first, we used ChatGpt to recommend us the best “squid ink noodle” in Venice – ChatGpt recommended us “ Rio Novo”. When we reached there, the restaurant was full of stinky smell and I saw Indian Chef and owner and I knew Rio Novo is not an authentic Italian Restaurant (I read the review abt 12% service charges and a tourist trap). We walked away and randomly asked people whom speak German language as I trusted people from German region and Japan always have high standard for food and hygiene.
We are really happy about the food, ambience and service .
Highly recommended for the Spaghetti Nero Di Seppa (Squid ink Noodle) ; Frittura Mista di Pesce; and Tris Veneziano.
Food is prepared with dedicated heart and fresh daily!
It is small and cosy at the corner of neighbourhoods feeling – a restaurant that shouldn’t be missed in Venice !!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish! The seafood pasta was rich, fresh, and packed with flavor. Every bite was perfection. The grilled salmon was cooked flawlessly, tender and beautifully seasoned. And the grilled scallops… WOW. Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had…perfectly grilled and unforgettable.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the limoncello topped off the meal in the most amazing way….bright, smooth, and the perfect finish to an outstanding dining experience. This place truly delivers on every level. Can’t wait to come back! ✨

Stopped in off hours, mid afternoon and had lovely late lunch, early dinner. Absolutely delicious linguine vongole and seafood pasta. Fresh salad, good fried calamari. Excellent wine by the glass. Reasonably priced. Very nice service and cute spot. Delicious homemade limoncello! Very enjoyable!

Food was amazing, by far the best seafood pasta of my life! All dishes were super delicious, the service was amazing. I could not recommend this place enough. We had a little bit of waiting time, the waiter was so kind and gave us a glass of wine each.

Simply perfect! We came back two nights in a row. Food is good, the vibe is romantic, classic and homie. Staff is nice, the waiter even gave us 2 limoncello shots at the end. Recommended!

Absolutely brilliant meal! Started with some prosciutto & burrata, then onto the most delicious lobster pasta and finished with Tiramisu. One of the best Italian meals I have ever had. Lovely small restaurant and friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed! .

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I dined at around 20:00 on a weekday in the outdoor area. The patio was calm and quiet. The food was very good. Many authentic Venetian dishes for tourists, as well as steak, pasta, and fresh seafood. I loved the baccalà mantecato e polenta.

a really good restaurant with nice prices. we paid 60€ for two people (two pastas, one beer, one orange juice, and two cups of tea). the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly. the pasta with tuna, olives, and tomatoes was especially good – I definitely recommend trying it❣️

Good place for authentic venetian food. A little bit touristy spot but wasn’t too bad. Good menu and friendly staff. We tried the liver which was delicious. Lasanga was so and so. The starter pistachio pasta was very tasty.
