This small house has seating for maybe 50. Very laid back atmosphere. The service was outstanding. I visited during the lunch buffet. There was plenty on the buffet even though it’s a little small. If it were full, I could see them having some issues with people being patient around the buffet bar. I enjoyed, country style steak over rice, BBQ, green beans, but the star of my plate was chicken pie. This pie had a great crust and was deep dish, loaded with chicken. I topped it off with a small banana pudding. The tea was included in the price $8.75. Looking forward to trying the breakfast.

We had no choice, but would give this place no stars. When we arrived it was not very busy, but there were no clean tables and the place just looked dirty. Our table was left wet, and it was a 45 minute wait for breakfast, which was nasty. The hash tasted like a can and the omelette was gross. The only good items we had were the pancakes and the grilled cheese. We could have more understanding if the waitress had checked on us at all, or had anyone even asked how was the meal, considering some of the uneaten food. It’s a shame this is the only breakfast restaurant in Wallace. Since they have no competition, I guess they just don’t care.

They don’t like people of Color!!!. Stay away!! When we walked in we weren’t greeted. We found our own table. It took them 10 minutes before they came with menus. They never came back for refills but walked but several times to refill others. But never us. We finally left after waiting over 30 minutes for our food that never came. Nobody ever came by to say the food is coming no coffee refills nothing. Complete waste of time!!

Sean’s has that down home family style country style setup that makes you feel welcome anytime you go. They also do a great job of making sure the tables are sanitized as soon as one group leaves and the other group comes in and they will not see you before they sanitize your table. Customer service is top notch. Oh and by the way the food especially the breakfast is great. Try the country ham and cheese omelet.

We came to rose hill to get married. Found this homey place to eat breakfast. They were very short staffed but they treated us promptly and when I seen the patrons helping other customers I said to myself. This place is awesome!!!!! Food was great tastes like homemade

It was my first visit to Shawn’s Restaurant. I was in Wallace for business, and my husband remembered there was a restaurant near the hardware store. He suggested we give it a try. I ordered country ham, eggs, shredded hash browns, and pancakes. My husband got a vegetable omelet and French toast. Everything was fantastic! It was spacious and clean inside. Plenty on room between tables. They were extremely nice. I can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu! Maybe tomorrow

It’s a great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast is home cooked to order the way you want it and portions are good and the coffee keeps coming. Lunch is Buffett different everyday. Employees are very nice and even if they don’t know you they treat you like they do.

Love their breakfast, as I’m a breakfast person about time of the day. Always fresh and made to order. Staff are always friendly and quick to wait on you. The cook is pretty awesome too…..

1st visit…Small, unassuming “houselike” building. The food was delicious, but not many choices at all.
*All you can eat “home cooking” buffet (1-2 meat choices), (limited) salad bar, & dessert (ONE choice)…but still…it was very tasty. I DID get full.
