Me and my boyfriend went through the drive thru and got 2 burgers drinks and sides. The first bite my boyfriend takes he pulls a LONG NASTY HAIR out of his mouth I called to let them know and all the wanted to do was refund the burger?? No one wants to eat NONE of your food after that. Definitely needs to be inspected disgusting place! disgusting people!! definitely do not recommend getting food from here. Also the lady’s attitude was disgusting!

Can’t find a cheese stick like Dixie dog has anywhere else except maybe at a state fair. Great food at a good price. Service was a touch slow but every thing was made fresh. That’s worth the short wait in my book! Good old school burgers. I’m not a fan of hot dogs but the Dixie dog is worth eating!

I’ve lived in Idalou for 18 years now & have never been to Dixie dog. When I decided to go a couple of days ago, there was no one there except employees.
I ordered a hamburger with mustard, mayo, lettuce, & pickles. When I got home & checked my order, the hamburger was fairly cold & had mustard, ketchup, & pickles. Was very disappointed because I’ve heard good things about their food.

I had the cheeseburger and tots. The wife had a bacon cheeseburger and tots. Burger was a bit small for the price, but it was good. There were a lot of tots in the container, but no complaint there. They were crispy, just the way I like them.
Will definitely be coming back for the Hot dog or the Dixiedog.
