The pork chops were mouthwatering, best pork chops I’ve had!
My husband had an amazing birthday dinner thanks to you guys!
Our server, my poor memory, I believe his name was Kenneth, and forgive me if I missed it…was amazing. The food was amazing. The atmosphere there is very nice as you can tell from the pictures. As usual, we were about first in, but by 11, it was pretty packed. The highlight is on Friday’s. They usually have the $22 pork steak, as you can see in the picture. It’s a good 3 or 4 fingers tall, with the mashed potatoes and a touch of applesauce. We did get a couple appetizers. The little steak and tater tot thing was really good. One of the best flavored potato bites, I’ve ever had. Also, the macaroni and cheese with pork and tony bacon shavings was top shelf. Very, very good and I tell you what … you cannot beat that pork steak that is spectacular. We ate less than half of it brought it home. We’re gonna do a couple different meals with it. To justify the expense of a very fine restaurant. This was special, and as an anniversary present, they gave us a choice of one of their non flammable desserts. And as you can see, we took the Creme Brulee. I had never had one in the pudding in the berries were very good. The caramelizedTopping kind of had a little burnt taste to it that I wasn’t fond of but she didn’t have an issue with it. Overall it was spectacular
Sadly we went the last weekend before Christmas so getting in to the Domain was a little hectic but with a parking garage right next door to Perry’s, parking was not an issue with just a short walk to the restaurant.
The interior was beautiful and the customer service from the front desk to being seating was excellent.
Our server, Ryan, after confirming this was our first visit was extremely knowledgeable and informed us on the layout of the menu and made recommendations based on our questions.
Our main entrées were the Dinner Cut Pork Chop, Filet Mignon, and Chateaubriand Three Way with the Sides For Two of Perry’s Signature Fried Asparagus, Au Gratin Potatoes and Roasted Sherried Mushrooms.
When the food arrived, Ryan cut the Pork Chop and explained the Chef’s recommendation on eating the three parts.
The Pork Chop was extremely tender and very tasty. He agreed that it was the best Pork Chop he has ever had.
Although Ryan had a table of 10 right next to us he was very attentive and ensured we had a remarkable first visit experience.
We will return and would recommend this location. You need to try the Pork Chop!
A special touch I love: you always get a free dessert on your birthday, which makes celebrations feel extra special. Consistently awesome food, great vibes, and top-notch service — never disappoints.
Not to mention the ribeyes and filets are just to die for!!!! Every side is delish as well!! Great for a date night, we even saw someone get engaged once!
We agreed to sit in the outdoor area since it was described as heated and fully covered. They seated us right by the outside door, and although there was a heater above us, we were cold the entire time. There was a big gap by the door where the wind blew straight through. We told our waitress, Beasley about the gap and how cold it was, and she didn’t say anything or show any concern at all. We asked to move, but the heater at the other table didn’t work, so we ended up having to go back. We kept our coats on throughout the meal because it was so uncomfortable.
Service continued to disappoint. Our waitress barely checked on us, and we had to ask for refills, straws, and extra bread. Each time she seemed annoyed and unfriendly. When we asked whether they offered a military discount, the waitress replied that they only had a military menu and then walked away, which came across as dismissive. Very rude and unnecessary.
The food was nowhere near worth the price. My 14oz steak was fine but nothing special for what they charge. My sisters ordered their chops well done and received them undercooked. The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were good, but that was about it. My drink was mostly ice with barely any alcohol.
To make things worse, the table behind us was also complaining. I watched the man try to cut into his chocolate cake, and it was completely frozen.
And for all of this, we spent $300 for just the three of us — no appetizer, just three meals, one small drink, and one dessert. Honestly, we could’ve fed our entire volleyball team somewhere else for that price or less.
Overall, this place is overpriced and not worth the drive or the money. We won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
Came in tonight and got the Butcher’s Steak Burger & Bourbon special. Our server Grace was absolutely fantastic! Attentive without being overbearing, she was friendly and really made sure that we had everything we needed. It made our dining experience so enjoyable.
Both the manager and the waiter had very dry, unwelcoming attitudes, and there was zero sense of urgency or care in fixing the situation. For a restaurant with Perry’s reputation and price point, I expected far better service and food quality.
This visit was incredibly disappointing, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.
