The service was a bit slow today. I’m not sure if they forgot to enter my orders into the system, but it took longer than usual. Still, the staff were friendly and accommodating, as always.
Service Rating: 3/5
Food
Garlic Naan: Good and straightforward, nothing much to comment on. 4/5
Chicken Tikka Masala: I ordered it extra spicy, but it arrived quite mild, which makes me think my order may have been forgotten and they tried to prepare it from memory. Flavor was still good, though. 4/5, mainly because it lacked the spiciness I asked for.
Butter Chicken: Really good, with a nice level of heat. 5/5
Tandoori Prawns: Very good as usual, although dishes like this tend to dry out the prawns a bit if they sit too long on the hot plate. 4/5
Hot Chili Fries: First time trying this. Interesting to try, but I don’t think I’d order it again—I prefer their plain French fries. 2.5/5
Atmosphere
The place is clean and well maintained. It has two floors with an elevator, and it has looked pretty much the same for the past ten years, which says a lot about their consistency. 4/5
Overall Rating: 4/5
Service could have been better this time, but the restaurant remains consistent. The food is solid, prices are on the higher side, but I’ll definitely keep coming back.
Roti Chennai, Butter Chicken, Vindaloo and Garlic Naan are all perfect every time we eat here!
10/10 and percent recommended!
The food had great flavor and tasted authentic, which I really enjoyed. It did take a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait.
Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.
Reco: Chicken butter and naan, prawn biryani
I ordered the shawarma for takeout and it was absolutely awesome—truly an authentic Indian shawarma. Their garlic sauce is amazingly good, and the chili sauce is deliciously tasty. They also include a fresh salsa verde, which is a great addition, though the BBQ sauce provided wasn’t to my preference. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the ambiance feels like being transported to Bollywood.
The food was delicious, and the naan was especially great.
I really loved the experience and highly recommend this place.
