A good but pricy Indian restaurant in Makati. One of the few restaurants that serves Chinese Indian food. I ordered chilli chicken and my girlfriend ordered fish tikka and both were good. Also had mango lassi. The service was good, did not have issues calling staff. Overall a good experience. You can pay using Apple Pay.

Every dish is beautifully prepared, aromatic, and full of taste, reflecting true Indian cuisine. The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, from the curries to the breads. Royal Indian Curry House is still a must-stop for good Indian food in Makati.

The service was a bit slow today. I’m not sure if they forgot to enter my orders into the system, but it took longer than usual. Still, the staff were friendly and accommodating, as always.

Service Rating: 3/5

Food

Garlic Naan: Good and straightforward, nothing much to comment on. 4/5

Chicken Tikka Masala: I ordered it extra spicy, but it arrived quite mild, which makes me think my order may have been forgotten and they tried to prepare it from memory. Flavor was still good, though. 4/5, mainly because it lacked the spiciness I asked for.

Butter Chicken: Really good, with a nice level of heat. 5/5

Tandoori Prawns: Very good as usual, although dishes like this tend to dry out the prawns a bit if they sit too long on the hot plate. 4/5

Hot Chili Fries: First time trying this. Interesting to try, but I don’t think I’d order it again—I prefer their plain French fries. 2.5/5

Atmosphere

The place is clean and well maintained. It has two floors with an elevator, and it has looked pretty much the same for the past ten years, which says a lot about their consistency. 4/5

Overall Rating: 4/5

Service could have been better this time, but the restaurant remains consistent. The food is solid, prices are on the higher side, but I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Arguably the best Indian food that I have ever eaten in London, Mumbai, New Delhi or Manila!

Roti Chennai, Butter Chicken, Vindaloo and Garlic Naan are all perfect every time we eat here!

10/10 and percent recommended!

I was craving curry while I was in Westgate and luckily I found this place on Google Maps.

The food had great flavor and tasted authentic, which I really enjoyed. It did take a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait.

Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

It was my first time here, but it did not disappoint. The interior and ambience were good. The food, excellent — chicken biryani and chicken home made curry tasted divine (we ordered mild spicy); garlic naan with their sauces, paired with masala tea, was delicious. Shami kebab was interestingly good, with right amount of spice and surprisingly not too heavy. The service was pleasant — staff were attentive, although the service time was kind of lengthy. Overall, it was a good experience.

SOOOOO good! No mutton tikka/kebab available so just ordered the flaming mutton, which was still good but everything else was great. Great service, good atmosphere. Loved dining here

Shawarma Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I ordered the shawarma for takeout and it was absolutely awesome—truly an authentic Indian shawarma. Their garlic sauce is amazingly good, and the chili sauce is deliciously tasty. They also include a fresh salsa verde, which is a great addition, though the BBQ sauce provided wasn’t to my preference. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the ambiance feels like being transported to Bollywood.

One of the best restaurants in Makati. You will not feel that you are outside of India. The staffs over there are very hospitable. I love to go there again and again.
