When I had eaten here, it was warm enough to sit outside. They had a little bit of outdoor seating on the sidewalk with mainly indoor seating. We ordered the Irish Nachos, beef and cheddar, and the Agave burger. The Irish Nachos were good and very different! The beef and cheddar was definitely the star of the show. I would get another one next time!

Six of us stopped by for dinner on a Friday night before a Christmas concert in Anoka. We had a variety of food including a Ruben sandwich, French dip, BLT, a hot honey shrimp dinner, fish sandwich, and I had a BBQ bacon burger – most came with fries and all were very good. I chose this place based on the good food reviews and that didn’t disappoint, but I wasn’t expecting such a small place! Good for them for taking a small corner of a building and doing so well – but in the end it’s a bar, with cute decor but still a bar atmosphere. I’d come again and can definitely recommend it. Thanks guys for making room for us to sit together! (Harder than you think lol)

Great local corner pub. Crowded, fun, loud, and local on a Friday night! The food came out fast. They have a tasty Rueben sandwich and a proper pour of Guinness Stout. The atmosphere is part Irish pub, part sports bar, and part college bar. Videos of people drinking their signature drink play one of the TV screens. (Sorry I don’t recall the name of the drink.)

We found this restaurant while searching local restaurants to try and it did not disappoint. This is a small little bar/restaurant in Anoka. The decor is fun and you know it’s going to be fun place when they have the lamp from A Christmas Story behind the bar. We were greeted immediately after choosing a table. We started out with Reuben rolls. These were fried to perfection with a great Reuben flavor with 1000 island dipping sauce. Great crunch and great flavor. We also tried Irish nachos. These are house made chips topped with cheese sauce, corn beef, bacon and diced tomatoes. These house made chips were amazing, fried to perfection so that the sauce didn’t make them soggy. That cheese sauce has so much flavor! We shared the Guinness Cheese Burger. This is an open faced burger on a sourdough bread topped with perfectly cooked fries topped with the most amazing Macgillycuddy cheese sauce. That cheese sauce is the show stopper. And of course we tried the fish and chips. Nice portion of fish with an amazing coating and crunch. Tartar sauce was good, just a normal tartar sauce. The fries that come with the meal are delicious with a good crunch. Not a plain fry. Overall great experience and an added must go back restaurant on our list.
