Lemme just say this.. I haven’t been inside Bevacqua’s in over 40 years. I’m just giving it 5 stars because I salute them making it all these years. A lot of not so great reviews on here, but the fact that they’ve been open for all these years says something about this place. This place is the Keansburg I remember in the early 80’s. I’d stop in this place walking to school with my older cousins all the time. My mom would send me here with a note and cash to get her Newport cigarettes and E-Z Wider rolling papers when I was in elementary school!! (The good ole days) I got my first dog from whomever it was living on top of Bevacqua’s in 1983. She lived to be 18 years Welsh Springer Spaniel named Missy . Got her when I started kindergarten. Ok done rambling. Congratulations Bevacqua’s! Whether they love yas or hate yas, your presence says it all. By the way.. I’d love a pork roll and egg on a hard roll! Haven’t had that since I Ieft Jersey in the mid 90’s!!

Haven’t been to this deli in 5 years I should have known better since the parking lot is always empty. I bought a pork roll egg and cheese for $8 and it had government yellow cheese and the role was rubber we’ll take the extra 1-minute drive to nappy’s five star sandwiches and service

The place is disgusting with a bunch of outdated food and drinks. I noticed some areas are filled with dust bunnies too. I think it’s pure laziness how they don’t get rid of the old stuff and mix it with the new stuff. I definitely wouldn’t order breakfast there or any other food because God knows when the grill has been cleaned.

I have been in here in a long time. It has changed since I’ve been here last. A small menu, nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered half of a cheese steak, it was okay. I should have them put some A1 on the sandwich it would have been an improvement. You can get lottery tickets here so pretty good. The people are nice so that is a plus.

I love the old timey, old-school atmosphere & wise ambiance the store has. It’s your typical Deli / Convenience StOre —- & it’s so close to my new house, & thank God !!!! It’s less than a 5 min walk !!! I wish their hours were open later but other than that I can’t complain.

Go to this Deli every day! Amazing staff! Very welcoming and helpful! My kids go there and I know they are in good hands! Once they did not have 20 cents and they gave them 20 cents to buy what they needed. Thank you for being part of this community!

They have your last minute items that you need in a pinch. Plenty of times around the holidays we had to go and get this or that. The place is great for those things or a quick sub/hoagie or breakfasts sand which. Pop in with the kids for the candy or ice cream too. If you need anything substantial though, go to the food store but if you’re good with generic window cleaner, salt/pepper, and milk, this is your place.
