Food was very tasty, however I paid $35 for a combo platter that was supposed to include 1/2 lb brisket, got home and saw how small the portion was so I weighed it and was VERY disappointed it was .15 lbs. Thats far off from .5 lbs.

Had Ronnie Ron’s for the first time this past weekend. Holy moly it was good! Love the smoke and tenderness. Fall off the bone good. And the sauces are great. But let me tell you about the potato salad…probably the best I’ve ever tasted.

I’m from Texas so maybe I have high expectations when it comes to bbq. I’ve been passing this place for quite some time and decided to stop. It smelled amazing. I ordered the rib plate which came with two sides. The macaroni and cheese was disappointing, I trashed it. I wish I could’ve experienced what some of the other reviews stated about the Mac & cheese, but for me it was unseasoned and the pasta was overcooked. Imagine someone overcooking pasta and it tasting like water and then they add cheese. It was horrible. The baked beans were OK, However, they were really sweet and it almost taste like cinnamon or nutmeg or something similar is in it. I will say the ribs were the highlight of the show. The meat was tender, falling off the bone and smoked well. I would try this place again, but different side dishes next time.

If you haven’t had Ronnie Ron’s BBQ, you have been missing out! Everything about this food is incredible. The pulled and smoked chicken were tender with good portions, flavorful and perfect. The sides were just as amazing. We had Mac and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and potato salad- all incredible. The price was just right and wr will definitely be back!

Got the ribs with chicken combo having Mac and cheese with baked beans! I don’t even eat baked beans but these were great. Absolutely amazing food been driving by them for months whenever I work and finally decided to come on my day off to try. Food was delicious and tasty. It slid right off the bone as well! I couldn’t even slide it over to see the chicken with out it falling apart it was so soft! Will be coming back again soon! Was definitely worth the drive here through traffic! Don’t skimp these guys know how to make great BBQ!!!

Friendly staff when ordering and receiving food. A little slow, but it was my first time, so ♂️. Party vibe w/mostly early 80s RnB music (ex: The Bird, No Parking on the Dance Floor, Atomic Dog, etc.).

(just shy of a 4⭐ rating)
Good sammich, but portion and appearance prevented a higher rating. I don’t expect an “oversized, lose money” portion, just a better value for $8.
While the music kept it lively, slightly less volume and a little more variety might be an enhancement.
End of the day, I’ll definitely return, try other menu items, and report on my experience.

Went by Ronnie Ron’s BBQ today and scored me and my Fiancé some Ronnie Ron’s BBQ Ribs which made me happier than a Tornado in a trailer park. ❤️
Ronnie is such a wonderful dude and a down right bodacious BBQ COOK !!!!
He’s welcome at my house for dinner anytime . . . . . . . . . As long as he’s bringing da RIBS !!!!

Best barbecue of my life! Chicken doesn’t normally stand out at bbq places, they have the best chicken I’ve ever had! The potato salad was amazing. The Coleslaw is perfection! Ribs fell off the bone. Mac and cheese was just right. My only regret is that I don’t live in Florida. We will definitely incorporate a few more visits s next time we are in town.
