Waxy O’Shea’s is a wonderful, unique Scotch/Irish bar & grill (pub). They serve wonderful cultural foods & beverages, large portions, great variety & too many brews & drinks to list. Greatest place to eat on the Landing! We not only ate there twice in 2 days of our visit to Branson but we got orders to bring home for us & friend! Best Reuben EVER! You have got to try the Scotch eggs too! They are hard-boiled eggs, rolled in seasoned pork sausage, floured & deep fried til golden brown–4 to an order, served with hot horseradish mustard & honey mustard. This is a must-stop destination in Branson, Missouri!
Classic Irish watering hole with pub food, live music & open-mike & trivia nights.

I have lived here in the Branson area since 2017 and have always passed by this place. I decided to give it a try, and im glad I did. If you are looking for a Ruben sandwich, they have a good one. Also the cheese curds are delicious.

We were looking for a lunch stop and I noticed an Irish Pub with scotch eggs on its menu. I love scotch eggs and we heading in to try them out. We all enjoyed the scotch eggs and Guinness.
Also, I had never seen Guinness blends before, which they have several. It was a nice lunch.

This is my new go to favorite place in Branson. The atmosphere is great. The food selection is incredible. Was so hard to choose. I over ordered but no regrets. Came out flaming hot (burned my tongue and that isn’t a complaint) and DELICIOUS. We had a $100 gift card and despite over ordering and having adult beverages we still only spent $75. The prices are great. The food was amazing. Heading back here next time I come to town.

I liked the environment and the food. I wish they still had the sampler platter, but it was removed from the menu about six months ago, so I wasn’t able to try it. However, it’s a nice place with good service.

Ordered the Waxy Irish egg roll appetizer. Pretty much an entire old fashioned reuben sandwich just wrapped and trapped inside an egg roll. Wow. Try new things. These were amazing.

Not handicapped friendly. Took 30 minutes to get menus or service. But the good was 5 star easy. Maybe we came on a rough night. But service was nice once were helped but if you’re in a wheelchair, have a scooter or even a stroller you need to leave it at the front. I got the fish and chips and triple dip appetizer. The fries are crispy and delicious, the fish and chips were moist inside and crispy outside with little to no fish smell. The dips were all fantastic. Chips were crispy and dissolve in your mouth. The white queso was salty and creamy. The salsa I would buy a jar of and the artichoke dip was good but was cold, I bet it would have been better hot. My husband got bangers and mash. I HATE sausage but he convinced me to take a bite and I’m glad I did, probably the best sausage I’ve tried. Would be back if we didn’t have the cripple or babies with us!

At Waxy O’Shea’s the atmosphere is exactly what you want in an Irish pub—dim lighting, dark wood, good bar tender and a lively crowd. We caught some live music, and the band was fantastic. It’s one of the few places in Branson with a great late-night energy. Recommend for a fun night out with friends!”

We stopped in for a quick bite. They have a nice outdoor seating area, although we chose to sit inside. It was busy, but we had great service! The soup and salad was delicious. Cold drinks, great atmosphere & service. Would absolutely recommend and we will be back!

Enjoyed our dinner here. Service was friendly and liked the Irish pub atmosphere. Food was great. Got the Fried pickles as part of Happy Hour for half price. We also had the Dublin Coddle soup which was excellent. And shared the Classic Corned Beef and Cabbage for our meal. Which was all great. Glad we stopped in!
