I was so disappointed with our experience. We had heard le malt was great for cocktails so we tried it for Valentines Day. The cocktails were good and just as described. The food was overcooked and either over seasoned or bland. The table next to us sent theirs back. Our waitress was very kind and responsive but did get our order wrong and when we discovered this, she offered no solutions.

The biggest issue, though, was with the room itself. There were several “air fresheners” running in the room, diffusing a perfume smell. We were sat right next to one and it made everything smell like a glade plug-in. My clothes smelled hours after we left. I’m sure it affected the taste of the food. The bathrooms smelled terrible – like mold or like the toilets had overflowed frequently, and they had 2-3 more candles going in there to mask the smell.

I hate writing negative reviews, but this was an expensive meal and did not at all meet expectations. We asked to speak to management but they never came.

Very nice deco and seating but the music was very tacky, obnoxious and super loud. My boyfriend was constantly shocked by how the dj beats did not suit the classy atmosphere at all. The porterhouse was delicious but it unfortunately came cold.

Been here a handful of times and always had an amazing experience. We loved that they seemed mindful of keeping the amount of patrons at a time to an appropriate number so that the service was personal and efficient, and the food was always excellent. We visited on 2/13 and while of course with Valentine’s Day it’s expected to be more lively… our experience has made us wary of ever returning.

The hostess informed us immediately upon sitting down that there was a 2 hour limit… meanwhile we didn’t receive our entrees until almost an hour and 45 min into our night… The music was so loud we could barely talk. Sorry to the DJ but he wasn’t great either, just a very odd selection of music for a romantic weekend. Our server forgot about us multiple times, had to flag down other staff after waiting for 5 minutes with no utensils while our food sat getting cold. Not to mention an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill for just the 2 of us? Just overall, very disappointing when we regarded this place as 1 of our favorite restaurants ever

This might just be one of the finest lounges in Central Jersey for whiskey enthusiasts. The collection of whiskey is truly astonishing, complemented by imaginative cocktails, an ultra-cool ambiance, and, most importantly, impeccable service—especially from the superbly awesome Patrick. The food is equally delectable, and the snug seating arrangements in the lounge add an extra touch of coziness. It’s a mystery why this gem isn’t more crowded, given all its awesomeness. Looking forward to returning for even more fun.

I visited Le Malt Lounge for a friend’s birthday dinner, and the overall atmosphere was impressive—elegant and exclusive. The drinks were enjoyable, but I was disappointed with the food. I tried several dishes, including the chicken lollipop, lamb chop, and steak, but they didn’t meet my expectations for the price. We paid $170 for a pre-fixe menu that included unlimited cocktails and food, but I felt the experience was worth no more than $100. Despite this, I plan to return with my partner for a date night and give it another try, as my first impression of the food was underwhelming.

I choose Le Malt for my 54th Birthday dinner. Very nice upscale venue. The atmosphere gives mature grown and sexy vibes. From the entrance being greeted by the staff to being seated the ambiance was superb. Our waiter was very tentative and knowledgeable about the menu. The food portions were good and the lobster bisque soup was Devine. The prices are expensive but well worth it for the quality of service. There is live music on Fridays.
I will definitely return again.

Went to a couples dinner at Le Malt. The experience was amazing. The front attendant greeted us and took our jackets right away. We were escorted to our table, and it was very VIP like seating, which I loved. Private and persona! We were given the option to scan for the menu, or there was one on the table as well. Everything we ordered from the drinks to the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very attentive also. We really enjoyed our time at Le Malt.

The plates were dirty when we sat down. The bathroom could also be updated a bit. The service was excellent though and the food was great. The taste and the presentation was very good. We had the deviled eggs, chicken lollipops, truffle fries, mushroom ravioli, and lava cake.

So I’ll start with the good things about this spot. The atmosphere is very sexy and asthetically pleasing. The drinks were well made and tasty. I would say that this would be a great place to take a date for drinks as the vibe of this place is upscale and trendy. However it took a really long time in between drinks so much so that we had to remind the waiter a few times about the drinks. I think there may have been a delay from the bar side of things. For a place of this caliber it might make sense to have extra reinforcements in the bar area. The food was decent however it did not impress me. I would say that you’re not really getting anything showstopping taste wise. The presentation of the food was nice. Overall it was a cool place to visit at least once.

Had a lovely evening at Le Malt Lounge enjoying some cocktails, appetizers, and dinner (which was needed post Christmas madness!). The atmosphere was wonderful, service was fantastic, and the food and drinks were beautifully presented and delicious (as is always expected for the Le Malt brand!). It was my first time to this particular location – and we very much enjoyed the deviled eggs, chicken lollipops, and the salmon. Highly recommend the ‘it’s time for a bath’ cocktail, it was delicious as it was adorable.
