generous portions. The Volcano Salad was delicious as well as the miso soup, hot tea & Sushi/Sashimi combo. Next time we’ll try something new. It’s worth the trip. Owners were friendly. Try it!
Ive been coming to Tokyo for over a year and loved it. The Sweet Honey and Mango are my go to.
However my previous visit i ordered 3 rolls and one of them came back wrong. I figured it was an error as it was busy and the owner seemed to be the only one making the rolls, taking the orders and cooking and bussing.
I gave them the benefit being a busy rush for one person even if the roll i wanted was wrong and never got a water refill.
Today i came back to give em another shot because i craved my usual rolls. We were the only guests they had and a small child (possibly the owners kid/grandchild) came up and started grabbing my fiances purse and trying to take her watch and engagement ring with who knows how dirty his hands are. He put a sticker on his face and then wanted to stick it on my mouth. The owner just let him do what he wished and we had to tell him no and kinda force him away. I feared he would return to bother when we got our waters and food. Luckily he did not.
Ordered 3 rolls and edamame for an appetizer. I got the 3 rolls and one was AGAIN INCORRECT, because it took so long i dared not correct her and risk a longer wait. Hopefully it didn’t have peanuts as i have an allergy but gave it an inspection before eating it as the owner disappeared to attend to other items in the back.
I NEVER got a water refill and hoped my ice melted enough to give me another sip.
I really want to continue supporting small independent businesses but the child intruding on our space, the incorrect items multiple visits, the lack of attention, the longgg wait times just to get a ticket.
Unfortunately this place needs some help or even a server/busser but i will not be returning.
I hope they find the help they need and teach the young man manners.
To get checked out takes forever and a refill of water will never happen.
This place would highly benefit from hiring more staff. One person serving, making orders, and making to go orders just isn’t working.
Will definitely be back and would 100% recommend.
