Another fabulous meal at Gram’s !! This time I got the patty melt, sweet potato fries, clam chowder and coffee with French vanilla creamer. The presentation is creative and appealing, the portion size ample, and the food delicious! I had to take some of each item home again (except the coffee, lol!) and got takeout for my son. A chorus of “Hi, welcome to Gram’s!” greets each customer walking in, some by name.
I think this is my new favorite restaurant, as it was my Dad’s before he left this world.

It’s a “mom and pop” kind of restaurant, the employees are all smiles and very welcoming. The interior is nicely decorated year round, but changes depending on which holiday it is.
Service was excellent. We had an assigned server, but other servers still asked us if we needed anything.
Come hungry when you come here because the servings were bigger than I expected and it’s too good to throw away.

Fun place with huge portions at a fair price! Love a good hometown diner. A must stop for brunch after seeing the manatees over at blue spring state park. French style omelettes are big and loaded, biscuits are huge and cake like. Definitely get the home fries.

Decent diner food. Exceptionally loud! The menu had good variety (3 kinds of French toast). We would come back, but prefer to have a place where we can hear one another. Perhaps some fabrics could
Help deaden the noise. Did not like that there were advertisements everywhere on everything. The biscuits were huge and homemade.

To begin with, it has a great mom and pop environment. Host greeted us very warmly and showed us to our table, with no line and no waiting. I ordered the steak, biscuit with grits and eggs. The grits were nice and thick, like they homemade. The steak was better than expected and biscuits were freshly made. Great prices as well and wonderful customer service. I highly recommend this place. Also, the wall art is a map of the local businesses in the area.

Gram’s is just grand! And so is their biscuits. But besides the already mention “mom and pop” atmosphere, they really bust their behinds to get orders taken and food served very quickly. They treat you like family and serve the best tea to boot. Visit “where the locals go” and have some of the best food and service you can ask for. Visit now and see them in their cute festive wear!

The food looks great, however, my eggs were slightly undercooked (although beautiful), the hash browns were somewhat salty which was surprising. The rye toast might be the best I’ve ever had – from a local bakery. Servers were great, helpful, and considerate – but it took 53 minutes to get my food. I’ll definitely be back but not on the weekend. Parking was overflowing to side streets, fields, and close by other businesses. VERY popular place. The price is right, $13 for eggs, bacon, hash browns, coffee and amazing rye toast. The biscuits and gravy looked excellent although I did not get any. Noticed some people were asking for extra gravy – a good sign. Definitely worth a try.

There’s something about a Maid-Rite that instantly takes me back to the Midwest. Growing up in Illinois, a loose meat sandwich wasn’t just food—it was part of everyday life. No frills, no extras, just perfectly seasoned ground beef piled high on a soft bun. At Gram’s Kitchen, they’ve mastered it.

I will definitely say that this was a good experience, even with the lunch rush crowd! Service was awesome, the waitress was so nice and very attentive. The atmosphere was great as well, you can tell it’s definitely a local hangout.
The food was good and came out quickly. My husband had the Southwestern burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed! He said the fries were not his favorite, but I enjoyed the fries. I had the chicken tenders to share with my one year old son and they were decent, hot and crisp. The only part of my meal that I didn’t really enjoy was the macaroni and cheese. It was a very thin cheese sauce on top and the noodles stuck together so it was just on giant noodle clump with a little cheese taste. But if that was the worst part of my experience, then I’ll take it!
Overall, highly recommend and if I’m in the area again I might go for some of the delicious looking pancakes I saw coming out of the kitchen!
