My first and definitely not my last time stopping by! It was like chatting with family stepping in the restaurant door. They have the smiles and eagerness to help. They were pleasant and welcoming. Very clean environment! They have fresh cake that is to die for. The Sid’s sub is enormous and delicious with the freshest ingredients. I wish I had more thumbs for thumbs up. Must try!!

I’m so happy we took a detour to Sid’s! We were about an hour out of Lincoln when we decided against Subway or another commercial sandwich shop because we found Sid’s on the map. The place is clean, the workers are friendly, and they were outwardly accommodating to my roadtrip circumstances. Fresh cut meat & cheese, fresh baked bread and goodies, clean store, and the guy making my sandwich was cleaning up after himself as he made my sandwich, which is honestly refreshing to see these days. It feels so good walking into a place having no idea what to expect, and encountering a well-run establishment, where the workers care deeply for the food, customers and facility. We will be back, likely every time we come through Lincoln.

Absolutely wonderful! As perfect as the first time I ever ate there. Can’t wait for summer hours so I can be a regular! The sandwiches actually have a great portion of meat and everything was very fresh. The staff were very nice and chatty while quickly finishing everything. Very impressed!

We were traveling thru Nebraska and wanted to try a Reuben sandwich. There were a lot of choices with great reviews but none as high as Sid’s. We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted. We ordered a Reuben and a Philly. They took the meat out and hand sliced it for the sandwiches. All the ingredients were very fresh. This was the best Reuben I have eaten. The generous serving of meat was tender and juicy and full of flavor. The combination of salty, tart and sweet was the perfect combination for the sandwich. My husband really enjoy the the Philly. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The bread was soft and fresh. I highly recommend. All the sandwiches I saw being made looked amazing. The employees were very friendly.

Around $7 for a nice local meal. Friendly and professional staff. A very nice quiet atmosphere. Don’t forget your cookie. Best Reuben I’ve had in a very long time! This is a sandwich shop you must check out! I’ll be making it a regular Reuben stop from now on!

Sid’s was incredible. Best food i had visiting Nebraska. We ate it 3 days straight and dont regret it. We had the Garlic Parm bread which was so fluffy and delicious. Chose the turkey and ham sandwich and added bacon with provolone. The meat was sliced with perfect proportions. Everything was so fresh and clean. Dont forget to get it Sid’s way…you won’t be disappointed!
Service was great. So kind and nice and we met Sid who you can tell loves what he does. If we ever come back to this area again Sid’s has made it to our list as a must have!
Lastly the cleanliness of this establishment was 5 stars. The restrooms were so clean. Tables and floors clean. And they clean their slicer after every use. So impressed.

We used Sid’s for catering around Christmas. The subs were delicious and a hit for the party. We’ve eaten there several times as well. Professional and friendly staff every time we stop in.
Sid’s subs is hands down the best sandwich shop in Lincoln. You won’t be disappointed!

Update 18 April 2025
Sid’s is still slinging awesome sub sandwiches. I’m here at least once per week for lunch. The only thing I can think of that would make this place even better is if they bought a rapid toaster. They accept Apple Pay!

Sid’s took over the spot where Little King used to be. I was initially sad that Little King wasn’t bought by someone else when I saw the opening soon sign a couple of months ago. I don’t know when Sid’s opened, but I saw them open last week. I decided to try Sid’s for lunch today. The layout of the restaurant is the same as Little King.
I have tried 4 different 6-inch sandwiches all on French bread. I enjoyed all of them. I tried the Bacon Potato Ranch soup 2 times. It was ok, but I thought it was a bit too thin and bland. I had was Rice Krispie treat which was good, a big cookie which was really good, and one of their brownies which was amazing. The chips are a nice addition as an optional side.
The restaurant is clean. I include the bathroom in this assessment. I really appreciate it when the employees keep the bathroom clean. Customer service is great. They make customers feel like they are appreciated when they walk in the door. I highly recommend Sid’s as a place to get lunch.

Visited Sid’s for the first time a few days ago and was absolutely blown away with the food and the experience. The staff was super friendly, the ingredients were super fresh, and the portions were fantastic compared to very affordable prices. I won’t go to any other sub shop in town again.
Also, they have CAKE. It was delicious. ❤️
