My experience here has always been consistent. Food is good. Service is fast. Since it’s basically made to order be prepared for a wait if there is a line. I am glad to see that they placed the soy sauce and hot sauce out so that you don’t have to ask for it each time. Overall very good

Horrible customer service, as a worker in the food industry i understand if the server gets the order wrong (it happens) but doing nothing about it is crazy. This young Hispanic guy at Dulles town center took my order and got my order with no chicken maybe he didn’t understand but then once i got my food i went to go tell this other curly head young worker and he just check my receipt and did nothing he just said he couldn’t do anything. Then i got mad and went again because what the hell is that customer service, i told the guy that took my order and said you got it wrong and he just said no i didn’t. I even had a witness with me to tell him as well. The one who took my order looked like he was new because i grew up going to that place , my first time seeing that guy and the first time i had a problem in this place. I didn’t want to make a big scene so i just left with the incorrect food. If you want your order wrong ,go to this place that has horrible customer service. This bothers me because I’m paying a good 25$ just to get something i didn’t ask for, crazy!

I used to really enjoy Sarku Japan, but lately it’s gone downhill. The portions have gotten noticeably smaller compared to before, which is disappointing, but what bothers me more is the quality. Every time I go now, the chicken is already pre-cooked and just sitting there. Instead of cooking it fresh to order like they should, they just reheat it and serve it. It feels lazy, and the taste shows it. What used to be a place I looked forward to has become a letdown.

So I have been here only three times. The first two times were great. The Japanese man that works there was making the sushi and looked like he was calling the shots. Sushi was great and so were the bento boxes. The service was not great. The Hispanic women that work there do not greet you, smile and barely acknowledge you.
The third time I decided to go I thought, not a friendly atmosphere but the good is good.
Well, the Japanese guy was not there and there were two Hispanic women making the sushi. I was a bit concerned but thought ok, they may have been trained. Nope, the sushi was bad and looked like it was just thrown in the boxes. The fried rice was more like oily rice.
Never again. Sometimes people need to stick with what they know. These Hispanic women should not be making Japanese food. Never again.

This restaurant is located in food court in Dulles town center mall. It is my favorite one. My loved menu is chicken and shrimp teriyaki w/ vegetable. The taste is always awesome. The price is cheap.

The people here are incredibly rude. I ordered a bento box and asked for fried rice. When I got the meal, there was no fried rice and I told them that I specifically asked for fried rice and they refused. The lady knows that I did, and another customer who ordered behind me also heard me say fried rice. They told me to either go back and pay again or leave. I have been to Quickway, and they are the best. This place sucks. They even made me wait in line again to give them a dollar for yum yum sauce. I’ve never been to a hibachi type place that doesn’t automatically give yum yum sauce with the bento boxes. The sushi was warm too. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst customer service they should be shut down.

I used to love this place till they did this, this compared to the other pictures is nothing. They completely robbed me! The food doesn’t taste the way it used to. No flavor. The pictures online are definitely misleading and wrong to compare to what you actually get. I’m probably not gonna buy again

This lady named Monica is supposedly the Manager of this restaurant in which I bought an order of Chicken Takiyaklo. I also ordered fried rice and vegetables but she picked up the vegetables that were thrown out, who knows how long they put them in the containers, it was almost empty which was what she was going to serve to me and to the customer after me. I asked her not to put the vegetables, to give me something more and she said with no with an attitude that if I did not want not to put them but I was not going to give anything more. I told her to give me back the money. I’m disappointed they way she treated me as a customer, Especially from the manager of the restaurant. They should train their managers to not give horrible customer service to their customers.
