Tiny place with a HUGE flavor.
We tried the eggplant stir fry with shrimp and we got a colorful and delicious dish. The green curry was also delicious and the Tom Yum soup very flavorful. I can’t wait to try other dishes. Everything is packed to go, but we could not wait and ate on their tiny deck outside and enjoyed the Thai iced coffee as well. It is strong and sweet. Try it.

Hands down the best pad thai I’ve ever had. I like to think of myself as a regular here and I don’t go anywhere else for Thai food. The workers treat me so well, and they know my order and modifications. Although I don’t know his name, the Asian man with glasses is the sweetest person ever. He knows my voice as soon as I say I want to place an order over the phone.
It’s a tiny place with a couple of tables off to the side outside. The inside looks clean and tidy. And the food is so good!!

We love coming to Thai Fresh for yummy Thai in Chula Vista. It’s a hole in the wall with a table or two to dine outside, we usually order to go. The food is fresh and full of flavor, portions are good and the prices are great. Evenings can be a bit busy, try to call in your order to minimize the wait. We frequently order Panang tofu, chicken larb salad, crab fried rice, pad sew w/tofu … Everything is wonderful!

Ordered two pad thai’s, 1 chicken not spicy and 1 shrimp spicy. They gave me both shrimp and neither one was spicy lmao.
Ive been coming for years and the food is pretty good but, no joke, this was the driest shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. For ~$15 bucks a plate you would expect fresher ingredients ♂️

I usually don’t like giving bad reviews and want to point out that this is not based on the food rather the service. I’ve been told the food and flavor is good so I drove 20 miles to try it, yes 20 miles(I like to try new places). The drive was only to be told when I was there that they close from 3-4pm for lunch. I totally get it that they need a break but I drove a good 20 miles only to be told “sorry, we close from 3-4” even after I told her I drove a bit just to try their food and it was 5 til 3pm. I’d be nice if they update their lunch hour on their social media and websites so people know not to visit during that hour. It is safe to say we won’t be coming back ♀️ on to the next one.

I don’t know what has changed here in the past 2 months. I and my coworkers were bi-weekly customers. We loved it here but they have lost their care for customers. Food is just mashed into bags. The food is not labeled to desired spice or content. The drinks are given small straws even when it had boba. I gave them 2 months to see if it was a bad day but this seems to be the new norm. I am looking for a better Thai food place in the area to be honest. Many customers from the Hospital and we are looking for a better spot.
