Went here tonight for a team dinner. This one had excellent food and great service. The vibe is upscale TexMex just like the ones in Texas. The food was delicious. Our waitress was always available, had great recommendations for those in our party who had never been to an Uncle Julios before. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Food was good, chose from the lunch menu, but plate from the regular menu were delivered. Baja Fish Tacos, (close but not quite Cali style) and Carnitas Tacos.

I strolled into Uncle Julio’s feeling a tad underdressed in my casual threads, but the warm hum of conversation and that effortless Tex-Mex energy wrapped around me like a familiar blanket—no side-eye, just instant belonging. It sparked this easy, unpretentious comfort, like the spot’s built for those low-key moments where you unwind and connect without the fuss.
Objective:
Tucked at 209 Franklin Rd in Brentwood this lively chain outpost serves up fresh with flair. I went for the Honey Chipotle Salmon ($25.50)—mesquite-grilled filet topped with a sweet-spicy glaze, paired with cilantro rice, black beans, and pico de gallo. It arrived in just 9 minutes, though the salmon edged slightly overcooked; the honey glaze smoothed it over seamlessly. The Original Margarita? Spot-on perfection—crisp, balanced, and suspiciously natural (orange juice whisper in there?). Service was swift, but the plating’s aesthetics could use a glow-up for that extra wow.
A solid 3.9/5 stars. The food delivers reliable hits with smart flavor masks for minor slips, and the drinks are a standout. It’s not flawless, but the value shines for casual bites—ideal for grabbing a quick, feel-good meal without pretense.
Next time, I’ll dive into those lunch-break business chats that seem to thrive here- amp up the visual plating game, and you’re golden for even more repeat crowds. Pro tip: Swing by midday for that informal networking vibe; it’s the perfect backdrop for sealing deals over sips.

Uncle Julio’s delivers a solid dining experience with high-quality ingredients and a great atmosphere. The swirl margaritas and table-side guacamole are absolute highlights. While the fajitas were tasty, the service can be a bit slow during peak hours. A dependable spot for a fun night out, even if it doesn’t quite hit “perfection.”

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD… CAUTION… RUN… DINE ELSEWHERE.
I’ve never had fajitas with meat chunks and a whole pepper…. what happened to the sautéed bell peppers, onions, and sliced meat. This was a horrible food experience. Three tacos, steak and chicken fajitas and 2 drinks over $100. I do not recommend. It’s overpriced and underseasoned. Go somewhere else. Tiktok lied.. I should have read the Google reviews before visiting this establishment.

Atmosphere is great. Vibes for days but it took forever to get seated, even when we had a reservation, and once seated it took a while to get a server. Took over an hour to get food and when we did it was wrong and sub par. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in this area. Do yourself a solid and go somewhere other than here.

We have been to Uncle Julios in VA and FL and was really looking forward to today’s visit in TN. We really just wanted appetizers since we didn’t have a lot of time so we ordered queso and nachos and it took 45 mins. The table next to us arrived 25 mins after us, ordered and received their food (fajitas) before us. There was a decent lunch crowd, but did not expect to wait so long for drinks and our food order.

Had a work happy hour and it was the best experience. The drinks were great, the apps were amazing (try the shrimp!)and the dessert was a must have. Who ever thought of having a chocolate piñata is a genius. However the best part of the entire night was the Service. Matthew was not just the bar tender he was a top notch server. all his recommendations were a hit, he made sure the entire party was taken care of and he was so nice. Ask for Matthew the next time you visit.

The food was tasty. We actually thought the ribs were back but our server was unaware(only at certain locations in Texas). So we tried the kids meal and the shrimp and crab enchiladas.
It was tasty but my food was cold
My son wasn’t that hungry but thought chicken was flavorful.
The watermelon margaritas is to die for!! Highly recommend
The churro was 6.5 out of 10
I will return to try the steak fajitas and more tasty drinks
Our server was very nice. Ambiance nice, and management made the rounds to check on service

Food was good, but wasn “hot, temperature wise”, as if it was just sitting in a warmer….informed the manager and she mentioned I should have told our waiter right away, so the issue would have been addressed right away by the kitchen manager and food remade. The manager also brought out several $15 coupons if we dine in again. Overall good atmosphere and good food that would have been great if it was hot of the “grill”.
