For as busy as it was… we got a table immediately and our server was amazing. My grilled chicken sandwich was wrapped in paper as it looked like all the sandwiches are. It was nice and hot! Their fries are handcut and very good. I was told the coleslaw was very good that came with the fish. We’d go back if ever in the area. Fun atmosphere!

Cozy, towny vibe. You walk in and it’s dark, warm and local feeling. Most of the menu is deep fried but they do it right. Clean, comfortable hole in the wall.

Off campus sports bar with amazing prices and tasty food! The burgers were well cooked and the fries were addicting. Loved the sweet potato tots and jalapeno poppers as well! Will definitely be back with our Spartans again!

Quite the local experience! This placed seems to be a local favorite and was packed! Understandable as many of the items (burgers, fish sandwich) were $5, pretty unheard of these days. Three of us had a meal for under $30, and it was delicious! Most expensive thing I got was a$7 IPA!

I stopped real quick to get a chicken sandwich for a customer and to my delight. What an amazing little bar. The young lady who answered the phone to take my order was absolutely a sweetheart when I got there she was so personable. The bartender was great. The cook was awesome. Juan made the food perfectly. The french fries were the bomb. Nothing but good things to say about this Neighbourhood bar. I hope I’m in East Lansing one day for a game and I’ll stop in and have a beer. It’s that kind of place.

Dagwood is a great little community bar with a great reputation. Things I liked and believe you will too: decent size parking lot, burger and app prices that are cheeper than McDonalds a burger for less than $5 is what makes America great!, bathrooms that for a bar are surprisingly clean, generally quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. Things I didn’t like and why I give it a 4 out of 5: When I came in there was no seat yourself sign so I stood there waiting like an idiot until I asked a staffer and second it is a bit dark for old eyes. I suggest some candles or table lighting. I will say my favorite appetizer so far though I wished there were more in the basket was the cheese sticks.

Super small bar that kind of reminds me and my husband of the show Cheers, “where everyone knows your name.” Very friendly staff, when you can get their attention. The cook was very nice and asked about our food. Only complaint was the puck of sliced onion that was on my burger. Would’ve enjoyed a few sliced rings of onion over the amount that was given. But, for the price of a deluxe cheeseburger with fries and a draft, you can’t beat it! Definitely going back!
