Spending some time in the keys, Mangrove Mikes was suggested a few times. I’m a big diner food fan, especially breakfast. Mangrove Mikes does not disappoint.
The decor is the Florida Keys, lots of historic photos of the keys and the many events Mike has served, been in… ect. The logo is amazing and you can purchase stickers, t-shirts and stuff here also.
If you’re driving down RT 1 in the Florida Keys be sure to stop here and fill up on some delicious food.

This establishment offers an excellent dining experience with delicious food choices. We particularly enjoyed the cinnamon bun French toast and the breakfast quesadilla, and there was a good variety of options available for children. The prices were quite reasonable, the portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. I understand they are also well-known for their tater tot tower, and we observed a selection of appealing seafood dishes as well. Its proximity to our accommodation was an added convenience, which we appreciated. We will definitely go back.

I had the Brunch burger. Freshly made patty. With Eggs, and tater tots. Everything was great. The atmosphere was cozy. The waitress and staff were very nice. I come to the keys often. I decided to give it shot. It was worth it. The menu has a wide variety of choices. Also breakfast is served all day long. They also give large quantity of food. l will definitely be back.

Really great breakfast. Menue much better than a traditional diner. I had the Locals’ Hangover Helper. She had eggs, homefries, and bacon. Both were really good. Mine was so big I couldn’t finish all of it. This will be our main spot for breakfast.

I loved everything about this place! The food was plentiful, well prepared and tasty! Big selection on the menu for both breakfast and lunch. I had a hard time choosing what to eat! Loved the tuna fish sandwich as it wasn’t drowning in mayonnaise. Burgers were great and so were the fries and coleslaw. I will be back again.

Had a great experience at Mangrove Mike’s! The service was incredibly speedy without making us feel rushed. The gluten-free pancakes were absolutely delicious — such a treat to find great gluten-free options that taste this good.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting from the moment we walked in. Definitely a spot I’d return to and recommend to anyone in the area!

We loved Mangrove Mike’s!!! We were headed back to Miami and had seen details about this restaurant on a few YouTube videos we had watched prior to our trip. It exceeded everyone’s recommendation. I had the seafood Oscar and had blue crab as my seafood, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish. It’s a very cool place. The service was great. We arrived fairly early so did not have to wait to be seated. It is worth a stop for sure. I’m not sure what the alligator story is, but I thought it was very cool.

We had a great breakfast here. The menu is amazingly diverse in a charming little diner atmosphere. We are a bit picky and they accommodate our special requests without hesitation.

Great place for a traditional breakfast. Service was fast, food was great. Menu had plenty of normal options, as well as some off the wall items that made it that much better!

Was staying next door to Mangrove Mike’s on vacation and saw it was well reviewed and decided to give it a shot. Food was excellent. Server had her rear end hanging out and a crop top on. Service was lack luster. Drinks sat empty and when refilled gave my husband water instead of sprite and refilled my diet coke with regular. We felt like an inconvenience though we really asked for nothing. Key lime pie pancakes were delicious as were the tater tots.
