Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We were seated at a very small round high-top table pushed into a corner, with barely any space between us and the surrounding tables. My wife had to slide sideways into her chair because the woman seated next to her was so close — not her fault, just very cramped seating. We understood it was a busy night.
We ordered drinks, an appetizer, a salad to share, and then our main courses. The drinks, salad, and appetizer arrived in good time and were enjoyable. However, before we had even finished half of our starter, our server arrived with both of our large dinner plates. With such a tiny table, there was simply no room. We had to move everything off the table — salt and pepper, water glasses, wine menu, candle — onto the window ledge to make some space. Even then, the plates were set partially hanging off the edge of the table, and we were left reaching over our main courses to continue eating our salad and appetizer. By the time we could actually focus on our meals, they were already going cold.
The food itself was mixed. My short rib was quite good, while my husband’s prime rib was just okay. The mashed potatoes were tasty, but the grilled carrots were so hard they were nearly impossible to cut.
We were hoping for a memorable Valentine’s dinner, but the cramped seating and rushed pacing really took away from what should have been a special night. We would have stayed for dessert had we not have been so cramped and rushed, instead we opted for an ice cream cone from the McDonalds drive through. We had so much more room in our car.
Pretty sure our waitress was the biggest issue but my husband will not go back. He only gives restaurants two chances and they failed at both
The restaurants response that we split an entree is false. Our receipt shows otherwise and I ordered the chicken. So whoever responded with that is misinformed. I can post my receipt for proof.
Couple gluten free options on the menu. Full bar, nice cocktail menu. Indoor and outdoor seating…
Photos are garlic bread, chicken Marsala, and ahi appetizer.
Great views of Lake Tapps. Good for large groups, reservations recommended for 8+ people.
Its a little on the spicy side but its bursting with flavors, the shrimp and the sausage pair together wonderfully and the sauce is excellent. Ive had that one a few times and I love it!
