We are not fans of the other two locations (one on South rainbow Road and the other one inside Shanghai plaza), so we never wanted to try Weera again.
We planned to dine in the Thai Laos restaurant nearby, but it was closed, so we tried this Weera, the original restaurant of this brand since we are already here.
Surprisingly, it is good, unlike the other locations which are modern and beautiful inside but not delicious or authentic at all.
This original restaurant is smaller and not as fancy or trendy but definitely much better food! We got beef boat noodle soup which was our favorite. The panang curry is very good, too. The Tom yun soup with shrimp is a bit on the sweet side, it would be better if it adds some more sourness. Thai tea is creamy and rich, very sweet.
Overall, it is very tasty and we will come back for sure, at this location.
I ordered the Pad Thai and Som Tum with crispy fried pork and sticky rice, and everything was excellent.
The Pad Thai had perfectly cooked noodles with a well-balanced flavor — not too sweet, nicely savory, and very authentic.
The Som Tum was fresh, spicy, and full of flavor, and the crispy fried pork paired perfectly with it. The sticky rice was soft and fragrant, making the whole combination incredibly satisfying.
Great presentation, authentic Thai taste, and friendly service. If you’re craving real Thai food in Las Vegas, Weera Thai – Sahara is a must-try.

From the moment the food arrived, everything looked and tasted exceptional — rich, aromatic, and full of vibrant Thai flavors. Whether you love bold spice or something milder, Weera Thai delivers a memorable experience.
If you’re craving delicious, high-quality Thai cuisine, Weera Thai is definitely a must-visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back !
The prices were super friendly too. You don’t need to fly to Thailand for real Thai flavors — if you’re visiting Las Vegas, this is the spot you should check out for amazing Thai food!
