Delicious food and even better service! The menu has quite a few options and the portions were large, with very reasonable pricing! Everything was customizable, including the amazing sauces. The lady who made our food was so sweet and absolutely hilarious! She was very knowledgeable about the entire BBQ process. There is also store with tons of character to walk around and shop a little while the food is made, and all the food could easily be taken with you on the road, or eaten there with lots of comfortable seating. I highly recommend a stop here and you won’t be disappointed.

Only a 2 minute drive from Soda Springs geyser. I had the pulled pork baked potato with the original bbq sauce. It was so good!! The restaurant is located inside of the home depot/gun store and has some seating. Friendly employees!

I sadly showed up right near closing and they were out of the things I’d have liked to order. Ended up with pulled pork sandwich and it was good, but not any better or worse than my own comes out. It was fine. I also got the potato salad, I don’t really like potato salad, but it was pretty good for a potato salad.

July 22nd, 2024 – Stopped here on the way to Lava Hot Springs after a long day of chasing Union Pacific’s Big Boy #4014. They were out of brisket and mac & cheese, but we got chicken sandwiches which were still very wonderful. Fountain drink machine is out of order, but the glass-bottled soda we got was delicious all the same!

This isn’t exactly a restaurant, it is a section located inside of the trading post. The BBQ was pretty good, super mild, not much of a smoky flavor, sauces were flavorful. Main drag was our sandwhiches were not toasted and were pretty soggy. I enjoyed the mac n cheese. The strangest thing is the ambience. It is mainly a store, and there was zero music and zero other customers when we went. It felt a little uncomfortable is all. They do have a good selection of BBQ sauces in the store.

All the meat is cooked on Traeger grills and is so tender! I love the smoked turkey salad and the Jack’d Mac – a spicy twist on Mac & Cheese. Fast service, great food. Lots of different BBQ sauces to try.

For what it’s worth not a great place due to the experience I had today. We were excited since it’s a local bbq place in town but what a disappointment. We got dry food and for the price definitely not worth it. First timer here and I don’t think I’ll be back. Need better food. Definitely need a refund!

Order: 1 Ckn Sandwich, 1 Pulled Pork Sandwich, 2 small Mac and cheese, 1 lg baked bean, 2 hot dogs. The customer service is unmatched. We didn’t realize they closed at 6:30, we arrived a little bit after that. They still were perfectly happy to serve us, they were almost out of mac and cheese and we ordered the last and were gonna get more. They didn’t have enough for 3 orders just 2, they literally offered to make fresh mac and cheese and were short one ingredient and asked if we wanted it that she could go to the store it would just take an extra 10 minutes. I’ve never had that great of a customer experience as due to our slight lateness they could’ve just not served at all. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if my road trip ever brings me through here again
