Came here with friends on a freezing cold night after the big snow and ice storm in January 2026.
Parking lot reduced by snow piles and it was wicked cold but still crowded on a Friday night. They handled the seating well for the anxious folks looking to get out of the house.
They have a very good beer selection with multiple sizes of glasses. Cocktails looked good and seemed like a good wine selection too.
We sat at a high top after waiting at the small bar area.
Service was good. Food was really good. We shared the fish bites (pictured) totally a good purchase. The chicken BLT was good (pictured) as was the crab BLT. Fries were good, the sweet potato fries were good and I typically don’t like them. My wife and a friend enjoy the cream of crab soup, I had a taste, delicious but very rich.
It was a good experience and we will definitely return.

I was there with 8 people. Highlights include the buffalo cauliflower and poke bowl. Most things were great. Service was fast. Food was amazing. But personally I would like to see some normal beers on the menu. NOT everyone loves craft beers.

Run don’t walk!! This place is the best thing in Crownsville for sure… today I had the Best Turkey Sandwich ever!!! Crispy shoestring fries and it hit all the happiness I needed!!! This will be our Thursday spot for sure!! We sit to the left, the bar area on high rise seating and it feels like the staff is there to make your experience the best!! Chris did just that and it was amazing… if you don’t see it, just ask, the chef is amazing and meets your needs ✌

I recently came in to Lures as a solo diner. I chose to sit at the bar and what a great decision! The bartender, Brendan, was amazing! Along with being extremely knowledgeable about the menus and selections, Brendan was so welcoming and fun to talk with during my visit. It’s not easy going out solo most of the time and this was such a refreshing experience. Though busy with other patrons and tables, Brendan really made the time to chat and make me feel welcome. The rockfish bites were perfect and the sauces were delicious. Also, I definitely loved the goldfish! I have not had one of those in years . I will definitely be back soon to see Brendan and enjoy the food and atmosphere at Lures!

I live out of town but visit often, and every time I’m in, I make a point to stop by and request Miranda in the bar area. She truly goes above and beyond for my family and I! She’s warm, welcoming, incredibly efficient, and really knows her stuff. I also have food allergies, and she always makes it work so I can still enjoy the meals I want which means so much.
Miranda is a big reason I recommend Lure’s to everyone. The great food, service, and atmosphere is 10/10 every time! ⭐️

We came to visit Lorraine (92) Dale’s mother in Annapolis. This cool place was really closest by.It was easy to get her in and out with her rolater walker. They had indoor and outdoor seating it was all decorated little the bay very pretty. The food was great simple menu all was delicious. Everything was just perfect and fun atmosphere.

Its’ been a while since I have been to Lure’s, but glad I came back. Service was friendly and prompt. I had a bowl of the jalapeno corn chowder – one of the house specialties – and it was excellent. Decor/ambience is both local and original and not trite. This isn’t another fern bar! Tap selection is excellent to complement the food as well as full bar service.

What a fantastic find! We were on our way to the Renaissance Fair and needed a break after an hour of traffic. It truly was a ‘port in the storm’. Everything from the first beverage to the finally of a slice of Smith Island cake was wonderful.
My husband has food allergies (garlic and onion) and the kitchen staff and server worked with us to create the perfect meal.
We have put it on our “save and go back list”.
