I love this place, it’s my new favorite restaurant! I got a house Margarita which was very good and then I got the Puerto Vallarta, which is shrimp, crab, cheese, rice and refried beans. It was phenomenal and it was a lot of food so it made me 2 meals.
Also, my server was very nice and helpful. She made the restaurant experience even better!

Tasty and delicious describes this place to a tee! Everyone in our party of five loved the food. I definitely recommend the fresh guacamole. They make it right in front of you. The steak fajitas were fantastic as well! And don’t forget the sopaipillas! They are the fluffiest I have ever had!

Al fresco dining was gorgeous with the magnificent mountains as backdrop.
Guacamole was ok. Love when mixed with chili sauce.
Food was ok. We had the shrimp and chicken – which was mostly chicken and beef taco- ok also.
Spicy Margarita was ok too.
Service was perfect.

This is definitely just a tourist trap type of place. Are waiter was fine but the rest of stuff is very rude. You can tell they were just ushering people in and out. It’s not a fancy restaurant by any means, just basic tables and chairs together.
The food was mediocre. The rice in my meal tasted like minute Rice mixed with tomato sauce. Not really sure how this place has such great reviews. When the food comes out to you within 5 or 10 minutes, like they just have buckets of food in the back and they are slopping it on your plate. Are definitely better places in Santa Fe to enjoy authentic Mexican food.

Visiting Gabriel’s is worth it just for the table side guacamole and chips, which are most excellent! Their homemade salsa is also delicious, and unlike many places, the chips are not fried in overused, nasty oil. We almost made a meal of those! We also enjoyed the fajitas, which had a generous pile of veggies, and the carne adovada. It was wonderful sitting on the patio and enjoying the fresh air and great food!

We were able to score a reservation last minute while on vacation to Santa Fe based on recommendations from other friends who visited. We decided to splurge and got the fresh tableside guacamole (fantastic!), main courses, and dessert. It was all really good with really good flavors. I’d go back when we’re in the area again.

We had a table out of the hubbub, so it wasn’t too noisy. It was very busy so our waiter couldn’t be too attentive but we were not in a rush. The food was excellent, especially the guacamole, which is created at your table; delicious! The Margaritas could be better however the staff gets an A+ for service and helpfuness.

Gabriel’s was the perfect location to host a private presentation dinner for our guests from Espanola, Los Alamos and Santa Fe. The food, service, drinks, and space were incredible. We will be back!

It was really good fancy New Mexican Mexican! All their food tastes really good. We didn’t get the guacamole because it was really expensive, but it sounds cool. The fajitas were steaming hot on a tray and were still cooking. The outside area was also really cute. We sat at the bar tables area and still had full service with more comfortable chairs.
