We are a family ran business and enjoy spending time with our guest. Everyone is treated like family and we all love every min of it. Me and my family have been doing this since we could walk and talk and love sharing our love of the bossiness with everyone we meet. We hope to see you here enjoying yourself like so many people have been doing for a long time.

Reviews
The crunchy French toast was awesome and definitely my favorite. My country fried steak was good and I also had a bite of the breakfast enchiladas and they were very good.
It’s a fun and a delicious place to eat. Our waitress was nice and entertaining as well.
We got there early on a Monday so it wasn’t too busy, but it does get really packed.
I would definitely go back when I’m visiting Utah.
The Country fried steak I got was burnt and really chewy. The eggs, hash brown, and toast were average. Nothing specials.
The scone was doughy and undercooked.
Nice cozy atmosphere but the food is ehhh. The servers are always busy.
I am only in this area once or twice per year visiting family in the area.
They are reasonably priced
The Rusted Spoon is an amazing diner. The staff is so friendly, and you can tell they care by the way they interact with their regulars. It seems they truly make friends with their customers, and treat them like family.
We’ve been several times. The place is packed, but I’ve never had to worry about my cup running empty.
It’s reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The quality is your typical diner food, nothing will knock your socks off but it’s so delicious! I love when my wife is in the mood for breakfast, I can still get a great burger and fries.
Parking is weird though? Make sure not to drive off the curb when you leave, we see it all the time.
This used to be one of my favorite spots, (I will even attach my review from six years ago that I will now delete) but things have seriously gone downhill over the past year. I wasn’t even planning to leave a review, but then I saw “mad guest” printed on my receipt… so, sure. I guess I’ll be that “mad guest.”
Truth is, I wasn’t mad—I was actually polite and just mentioned that our food should probably be shown to a manager. The country fried steak was completely dried out, burnt, and tough. It looked and tasted like it had been cooked yesterday and microwaved today. My eggs were supposed to be over hard, but came out over easy/medium. I ended up filling up on toast, hash browns, and the extra sausage my daughter didn’t want. That’s not exactly what I came for.
When I brought it up, the server told us the cooks are new and “getting better.” Respectfully… how long does that take? Because the quality has been sliding for a while now.
Also—just a heads-up—don’t rely on the menu prices. What you see is not what you’ll pay. The prices on the menu aren’t accurate, and your total will be more once it’s rung up. Would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time.
This isn’t just one off-day—it’s a pattern. I really used to love this place, but it’s just not the same anymore. I hope they can turn it around, but for now, I’ll be taking my appetite elsewhere.
Order the Crispy French Toast!
We ended up waiting 40 minutes for a seat and then ANOTHER HOUR for our food to arrive. The staff was nice and the food was excellent. It was one of the best French Toast I have ever had and highly recommend their Crispy French Toast. The bacon was also perfect, although the hash browns were not my favorite. The scone was decent.
We had a party of six and we all agreed this was one start all around and here’s why…
Our server was very nice, but we were waiting a lot for some pretty basic things. The other server was on top of it and zipping through getting her tables settled quick.
We ordered drinks and waited about 10 minutes for them, which is fine but still a little much. The coffee tasted more like water. I’m fine with a mediocre coffee with a diner experience but this one was worse than expected.
Orders were wrong, food was lacking in flavor, hash-browns were undercooked (even though we had some in our party ask for extra crispy), and portions were weird. We ordered some toast after our plates were down and didn’t get it to the table until well after we were done eating.
Overall, we were left confused why this had such high ratings. The only redeeming factor was how kind the manager was.
