Wanted fresh coffee stopped in and was disappointed. Coffee was horrible. I should’ve left at that point but my hubby was hungry. Food come out and mine has hair. So upset had the server come grab it. He’s taking it away I told him no need to make another I’m ok. No one never came from the back to apologize or anything. I won’t be stopping here ever again. Food sucks service trash.

Try to avoid this place. As you can see, I ordered broccoli that is probably from five days ago, the meat has a strange taste and is very tough, and I just hope I won’t have any stomach problems. As for the service, respect ! The girl working there is excellent.

Stopped at a Flying J to do laundry, so I figured I’d get breakfast at the attached Denny’s to kill the time and have a cup of coffee.
As I was waiting at the hostess stand, I had a short conversation with a guest that was checking out. Long wait, blah blah blah.
I was seated within two minutes at a nice booth with a nice view of all the Route 66 murals in the restaurant.
My server was a woman named Trisha, who was attentive and fantastic, despite the restaurant being short staffed!
I ordered a cup of coffee to start, and then was quickly giving my order to Trisha. Sante Fe Skillet with tortillas and an OJ.
My skillet was delivered quickly along with my OJ.
Perfection!
Over easy eggs were perfect, as was the rest of the skillet!
As Trisha was refilling my coffee, she asked if I was a rewards member, which I was.
She scanned a card which was hanging off of her hip on my phone, and informed me that I had a free OJ coming.
Bonus! Thank you Trisha! And Denny’s!
I haven’t been to a Denny’s since 1999, but will be a regular here.
Welcoming staff, great food and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I ordered the Grand Slam Burrito, and once again the hash browns were not completely cooked. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue — it seems to be a recurring problem at many Denny’s locations. The hash browns come out soft and undercooked instead of golden and crispy like they should be.
Denny’s corporate and franchise owners really need to remind their cooks that hash browns should be cooked all the way through, with that crisp texture customers expect. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the meal experience.

We stopped in to eat breakfast while on the road. The wait time wasn’t long at all. Our server Cody was very helpful. He made sure our coffee was full at all times The breakfast was served fast and was delicious. I would recommend stopping here next time we are in the area. We was able to enjoy our food. And have our conversation. Thank you for good service.

This was an interesting visit, because it was good and bad, so I had mixed feelings which resulted in my ranking. It took a moment to be seated, but that was ok. My server (Elvira) was very nice and attentive. While ordering she was the first ever in my short recent history of revisiting Denny’s, to ask me if I wanted anything on ky hash browns. I am so glad she did because the onions made a world of difference in flavor. My super slam was that much better.
The disappointment came when I ordered my second meal. I ordered a triple juicy burger (I think that’s what it was called), and what came out was not like the picture on the menu (forgot to take a picture of that). The picture showed three patties even with the buns. What came out ere barely pressed meatballs. I think they were going for elevation. The problem with that was there was no way to eat it like a burger, even after I removed a patty. There was barely any sauce which I was counting on, because no one seasons burgers any more, and I don’t like to take my food apart to season it, so having enough sauce is integral for me. On top of that, I was told they didn’t have seasoned fries so I had to go with onion rings. Their regular fries are not appetizing to me.
So, good first meal, good service, bad second meal. I don’t think I will ever order another burger from Denny’s. This was the first and the last. I would come back if Elvira was my server again, but nothing is guaranteed. Maybe your visit will be a better experience.

We got stranded in Tucumcari. Note to travellers there are no Taxi Services and no drivers showed up on Uber or Lyft on a weekend afternoon. We had to hoof it to the closet restaurant waiting for a car repair.
We chose the local Denny’s. The food was good and it was plated well, in addition to having good portion sizes.
The staff here works hard and our server was friendly.
If you are stranded and waiting on car repairs this is a great place to hang out. They were aware of our situation and didn’t hurry us at all.

Desiree was the best waitress! She made us feel very welcome and our food came quickly and it was great! Hot coffee was what we needed. We travel quite a bit and this was our second time here. Would definitely return again.

We had breakfast on a Monday morning and it was perfect! Food was delicious! Service was on point! There was one gentleman in the running the floor and he ran that floor! I wish I could recall his name but he had tattoos all over. Thank you sir for a nice morning breakfast. We appreciate you and the cook!
