I had such a great experience at Old Glory I ordered the pasta with vodka sauce (spicy) and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat. I also tried the apple cider sangria, and it was the perfect fall drink—refreshing, sweet, and full of flavor.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the wait time for everything was really short, which made the whole experience even better. The cozy atmosphere and great service definitely make this a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Awesome spot that is a go to for us when we’re in town! The outdoor seating is super nice, especially the upstairs. Drinks here are always tasty, and the food is delicious – especially the cheeseburger eggrolls (pictured… you won’t regret trying them). Jessa was super friendly, had a great sense of humor, and made the whole experience even better. Great vibes and a place you’ll want to come back to!

Cool place, 1st time here , looks like a church that was transformed into a restaurant.

The food and drinks were great and so was the service.

Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits – Keyport, NJ
Tucked inside a beautifully repurposed church, Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits delivers a patriotic punch of flavor and charm. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was a standout—juicy, savory, and layered with fresh ingredients that made every bite memorable. The overall food quality was impressive, with freshness clearly a priority across the board.

⏳ The only hiccup? A longer-than-expected wait for the meal, which slightly dulled the experience. Still, the cozy Americana atmosphere and satisfying flavors made it worth the patience.

Please note, this rating is only for these menu items, not necessarily the restaurant.

It’s been hit or miss dining in and getting takeout, during the week vs. the weekend, during tourist season and off-season.

For the Chicken Milanese entree and brick oven wings, I gave it quite a few tries this year. Here’s what’s changed from when it was good (for me) and now not so much:

– Chicken is very thin so it’s consistently very dry, kind of like jerky at times.
– Raw red onions are now pickled onions. I don’t have a preference but it’s a different flavor.
– Comes with nuts when it used to not. I don’t have a nut allergy but it is worth noting.
– Instead of diced mozzarella it has shaved parm (or aged similar cheese)
– What was a spring mix, now is only arugula.
– It comes with balsamic dressing now. Don’t try to change it nor add the white balsamic, having received it without dressing altogether dining in and take out.

Wing side note: I order them dry and sauce on side now to avoid gooey/rubbery skin. They don’t seem to be crispy oven roasted anymore.

Both items were edible this time and I can’t confidently speak to other menu items as my visits have been less frequent due to inconsistency all around with: wait staff, food, beverages/cocktails, and individual experience with takeout, dining in solo, and when dining with others.

Old Glory Kitchen & Spirits is a great spot. The OG burger is really good, and the fries are just as solid. Great service every time, plus an excellent selection of beers on tap. The atmosphere is very cool and laid-back, overall just a great place to grab food and drinks. Highly recommend it.

There is no precise word to describe how much we love this restaurant. They cook in an actual brick oven. Before Wood Stack was opened in our neighborhood, we drove 30 mins for their food. Wings are always good, and our go-to is the seafood pie. So juicy and flavorful, and the shrimps on top were always so perfectly cooked, hot and tender. In the summer, we usually sit on the second floor outside, order some cold beer, and enjoy the ocean sound and view. It used to be impossible to get a table. So if you are going in a big party, make a reservation before going.

Solid local establishment for good food and drinks. Weekday specials are good and in the summer their outside dining is awesome. They used to do communal seating but I think that went out the door a very long time ago. They have entertainment some nights of the week and the staff have always been pretty kind and attentive. I have to say the last time I went it took forever to get drinks. I don’t know the reason but I don’t think it was our servers fault. Maybe the bar was backed up? It was a Tuesday night tho with half price sandwiches so they were moderately busy but nothing crazy. I haven’t really had a bad bite of food their although I haven’t tried too many things. I’ve frequented this place over the years even getting takeout but pretty much have stuck to pizza, wings, calamari (which is some of the best around), meatballs, and their garlic shrimp app. This particular 1/2 price night I did have a burger and it was awesome! I’ll be back again and again.

I’ve been going to Old Glory for a while now, and just thought I’d give them a review now. The food is great, and I love the vibes. The service can be slightly slow at times, but the place is always busy, so it’s understandable. I’ll definitely go back!
