The parking is a headache! Make a reservation if doing on the weekend it gets very busy. And get early so you find parking ,I was circling the place to find a spot. I had to park down the road and walk to the place. Food was delicious. I got the lunch sandwich and salad. The Monterey Club and chicken avocado chop salad. It was all fresh and pretty. I also got to try the Morning Meditation Juice it was refreshing and delicious. The Seasoned potatoes were crispy and were cooked to perfection.

I’ve always been a fan of First Watch, but after my experience today at the First Watch – Buford location, I won’t be returning.

I ordered the Market Veggie and was genuinely looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was a MAJOR disappointment. Before I even took a bite, the sandwich looked like two pieces of bread stacked together with barely any filling in between. It appeared poorly assembled and rushed — not something I’d expect from First Watch.

The onions were NOT sautéed as described; they tasted almost raw! The ingredients weren’t balanced, and the sandwich lacked the wholesome quality I’m used to. The tomato bisque was also overwhelming, with large floating pieces of basil that overpowered the flavor.

I ended up throwing the entire meal away, which was frustrating and disappointing!

Based on this experience, I can’t recommend this location — not to my friends, not to my family, not even to my arch-enemy.

NOBODY deserves that kind of letdown.

Not my first time visiting First Watch, but definitely the best visit yet. I visited with my family, and we were a large party. Our server Samuel was AMAZING. He was patient and kind with all of us, he did a great job and we were all very happy with service and food. Would definitely love to go back.

Came in hungry, left happy and slightly more social than I expected. This spot knows how to serve up a solid breakfast. The potatoes were packed with flavor, the eggs were cooked just right (not too runny, not too rubbery, Grandma would approve), and even the toast and butter had me nodding in appreciation.

Now, fair warning: weekends here can get busy. Like, “wait a bit and make a friend” busy. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. They’ll seat you with other folks if it’s crowded, and it’s actually kind of refreshing. I ended up chatting with a retired teacher and a guy who flips motorcycles. We broke bread..literally and swapped stories.

Parking, though… that’s the real adventure. It’s tight, and whatever you do, don’t park in the neighboring business spots unless you want your car to take a surprise field trip. They’re legally allowed to tow, and they don’t mess around.

As someone who spends most of my day helping people find the perfect home, it’s nice to find a place that feels like a little community of its own. I’ll definitely be back—next time with a little extra time and maybe a smaller car.

First time at this location. Ordered buttered grits, waffle and bacon. The grits had so much butter in it I couldn’t even eat it all. The white guy with glasses that greeted me and gave me my pick up order was so nice tho! Great service

We had such a great experience at First Watch today. Our waitress was awesome friendly and attentive and the manager, Nicole, even stopped by our table to recommend a couple drinks from the juice bar. We tried the Pineapple Express and Kale Tonic, and both were amazing.

My husband ordered the club sandwich and really enjoyed it, and I had the Million Dollar Bacon with the traditional breakfast. Everything was delicious and fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve gone several times to different locations of this chain, a handful to this location and it is a wonderful experience every time.

Food wise: The lavender haze drink is lovely. I love all of the Hashes I’ve tried. The Farmhouse, the Mexican style one they had a few months back, and today I tried the Steak Chimichurri one (as an Argentinian, it was an ok chimi, but it went really well with the dish as a whole). The Elevated Egg is my husband’s favorite.

The service was excellent, as was the atmosphere.

The quality never fluctuates, no matter the location.
I will keep being a regular at this chain!

Our 2nd favorite breakfast spot behind J Christopher in Flowery Branch but ahead of Snooze, Flying Biscuit, and Cracker Barrel. The food is excellent and our waitress is always on point. We love that you can pay at table via barcode and wave to tell the hostesses it’s done. Nice addition to convenience. Nonetheless, the food excellent and we recommend going after 12 or before 8:30. Trust us!

This place is *really* overhyped. The menu’s description and actual presentation of food are fantastic—it sounds and looks delicious! But there’s a lot missing in terms of taste… and ingredients. We kept asking for menu items just for them to each time tell us what they don’t have: no orange juice, ran out of spinach, ran out of biscuits.

The worst part was how I, along with another person in my party, ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict and while it looked beautiful, neither of our eggs were poached. They were straight up boiled. And the salmon was honestly kinda nasty. I pushed it to the side at some point and ate what I could, which wasn’t much cause my potatoes were very undercooked. The others in my group enjoyed their more typical breakfast items: Breakfast Tacos, Omelette, French Toast. Their ginger specialty drink (Morning Meditation) was pricey, but well worth the money. One of the best drinks I’ve ever had, truthfully.

It was so busy when we visited we had to wait for 35 minutes to be seated. Granted, we had a party of about 14, but it doesn’t help that they do not have an indoor seating area to wait so we remained in the freezing cold. There’s a small area at the entrance where the outside door and inside door meet that maybe 6 people can squeeze into, but you’ll be in the way as folks try to enter and exit. The interior is well decorated and lovely. Restrooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Again biggest problems were OK food that is VERY pricey and their lack of ingredients despite being so well known. I would not come back, but if you do go: get their ginger drink (Morning Meditation), avoid Eggs Benedict, ask for crispy potatoes, and go early in the day to avoid out of stock ingredients.

This was an excellent experience! One of the main reasons why I’m sharing this review is to give everybody a heads up and that is the fact that it’s important to know that if you reserve your spot online you’ll be able to be seated quicker than if you were just to walk in. However, if you do walk in there is a community space in which you’re more likely to get seated immediately. Make sure you ask about it when you come to the front desk
