We are NH’s original board game cafe, featuring a library of over 2,000 games. For $5/person our guests get unlimited access to the library and the expertise of our staff, who strive to provide the greatest experience one can have while playing games with friends and family. All guests are encouraged to ask for game recommendations – we teach fun, easy, quick games every day, but we’re happy to assist in selecting and learning more strategic games as well. Our experience at boards and brews was fantastic! The staff was very kind and our bartender Chantal was very knowledgeable and charismatic. The drinks were delicious and food was out very quickly. 10/10 will return for the service alone

I recently booked the private room for my wife’s birthday party and we all had an amazing time and experience. The amount of games available is almost overwhelming. It really is a board gamers paradise. I accidentally over invited and we had 13 people in total so the staff helped us out with some extra chairs. I can’t thank them enough for their service and willingness to accommodate us. The food was so good, the beer selection is great and their signature cocktails are amazing. Needless to say we will definitely return.

Wonderful experience at boards and brews always! I’ve already played at least 3 versions of catan here! The only bar I’ve found where you can play ANY of your favorite board games and have amazing food and drinks. A fun place to go with friends and family for some friendly competition!

This is board game heaven! ✨All the meaty (and $$$) strategy games you’ve been wanting to try* + fun, light party games for a group + cooperative games for #bonding, etc. Best of all, though, the service is incredible. Really friendly and engaged staff with great recs for your next favorite game. Truly, can’t say enough good things about this board game bar. The best I’ve been to in a long time. We live in Boston but it’s absolutely worth the drive.

We’ve all been to those “board game bars” that only stock decrepit copies of Monopoly and Sorry with half the pieces missing… This place is *not* that. It was a delight looking through the shelves and deciding what to spend the next few hours on… And the price to play ($5/person!) is right.

Loved the whole concept of the place. Board games and a place to have a drink, relax, best thing ever. It was busy but took a while to get another order in. Other than that, amazing.

Boards and brew has been a staple for me in Manchester since it opened. When it first opened, it was cozy, filled with employees who wanted to teach you all the games you could play, and awesome food. I’m really sad to see that the food menu has been reduced to quick bites (and the loss of fried cheese curds) and servers and employees who are inattentive and seem uninterested in the games. I love what this place used to be, but it’s changed to be a place I’m not really interested in visiting anymore.
