I had big expectations for this place, however it was quite disappointing. I ordered 180gr Filet Mignon with a side of baked potato and a Bruschetta and the waiter did not even ask how I wanted the steak cooked. It came out very well done, to the point it was hard to even cut it. The food was average, and very expensive for its worth. I ended up paying around 45€ for the above mentioned.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the place. It’s quiet, with dim lights, and very cozy overall.

As a person who doesn’t eat red meat, I’m always happy when just as much care is taken with the seafood as the steak. There was a grilled shrimp appetizer in a delicious garlic sauce that had us sopping it up with our bread followed by a salmon dish that was equally as good. The others had steak, pork and drinks and said everything was tasty. The best part was the friendliness of the staff. They took the time to laugh and joke around with us even though the place was packed. Sorry this was our first night after a long trip and didn’t think to take photos but presentation was lovely. Would definitely go back.

Very friendly and professional service – from my experience in Lisbon, this should not be taken for granted. The steak came exactly as I ordered it. By comparison, this restaurant is more expensive than others in Lisbon, but to me, it was worth it.

Had some anticipation for a warm wholehearted meal, when the weather chilled and some extra calories would be welcome.
Lineup was one French onion soup, followed by chicken breasts with an oven baked potato all in the company of a weissbier.
Unfortunately, an overall disappointing experience, except for the beer and the room ambiance which was quiet though not deserted. Waitress was attentive and quite empathic.
But let’s dig into the matter:
A too thick and plasticized gratin covered an overreduced and salty onion broth with a few of the said onion presented limp and tasteless. One could only see too much fridging and microwaving into that…
The main dish was returned because of a cold potato, and even if chicken medallions were not briskly dry, they lacked taste and could have far more tenderness. With a second go, a new only marginally warmer potato came with a reinforcement siding on the youghourt sauce left untouched as it was overdoing. Minuscle cabbage pickle pointer, too little to have expression.
The house offers good expectation, but kitchen staff needs to have an overall picture on what they are doing, which they really didn’t have…
Not returning in the near future.

It’s probably because they did not speak English and we struggled but they didn’t ask me how I wanted my meat ( which is surprising for a steakhouse). So they brought me well done meat, which I do not like and also brought me appetizers that I didn’t order which were way too salty.
