Reviews
The process of ordering food is walk up to the counter, review the one page menu and place your order, then either wait for it to be made to go, or take a seat and it will be brought to you. Seriously, a no frills establishment. That being said, the food is spit on!
I ordered a small house salad, and when I was unsure if I wanted the vinegar/ soy dressing or the peanut dressing, the staff recommended the soy, and it was just what the doctor ordered. The salad was freshly cut, and it showed. Next on the table was the dumplings/ gyoza, and they were perfect. Just the right amount of fried deliciousness without being burnt. There were six (6) in the order. Finally, the entree I ordered, Pork Pad Thai, was brought over. This was so perfectly seasoned that I almost forgot to add a little soy. The pork and the noodles were perfect in their preparation. It’s a good amount of food. It was so good that I have already decided the next time I go, I want to try the Shrimp Pad Thai.
It you like Thai food or want to try “good” Thai food, then MaDee Thai Kitchen is a great place to try. You won’t be disappointed.
We ate here Monday night.
Usual, Panang Curry, Drunken noodle and Pad Thai.
All the dishes were delicious.
Drunken Noodle, are now our favorite.
They were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all.
Will be returning again when v visit our kid at UCI
Food taste weird. I go to different thai places regularly. I know how food should taste. Variations are welcome! But it look like they just don’t have right ingredients. (No some spices?) Example: they agree to give me combo rice but warned that they “don’t have cashews today” (they found few later). They run out of cashew?!…
Everything served (even soup) in plastic cups and plates. Isn’t it a restaurant, supposedly? And I can live with only two (!) tables and “industrial” interior but the check (for one) was $60+ !!! Are you kidding me?
One of the best Thai food restaurants I have been to
You will enjoy everything you order
They also didn’t have ripe mangos for mango sticky rice, and offered it to me with non-ripe mangos.
Overall bummed I spent $16 for kinda bland, boring food.
I liked the Pad Thai with shrimp better than the Tom Yum soup, though. The Pad Thai had a great smoky flavor. The Tom Yum could have been more spicy and less tomato focused.
The Thai tea was delicious! I think they use Pantai tea leaves, my favorite brand.
The owner was very nice and even packed our leftovers for us. I wasn’t expecting it at all, but she insisted.
