Great pizza spot that has excellent vegetarian & vegan options! Not only dairy-free cheese, but vegan sausage and pepperoni too! Buzzing atmosphere (we went on Sunday night, it was packed but totally worth the relatively short wait), nice service, cool outdoor seating, and overall just a great meal in a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Looking for a late night option in the Denver area and we’re fortunate enough to show up here. Not your typical greasy pepperoni sausage pizza type place, this is a lot more unique and delicious. We started with a couple of oh snap cocktails and the market salad, which is definitely in the running for one of the best salads we’ve ever tasted. The spread that comes in the salad is amazing, and we kept a little bit to use with our pizza crust. The pizzas are oven cooked to a perfect tasty crust, loaded with cheese, and the prosciutto was tender. So many incredible flavors in our meal, and will definitely look forward to trying again if we’re ever in the area.

Cart-Driver was a highlight of my Denver trip. The brick oven pizza is made fresh to order with quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The crust had the perfect texture — light, crisp, and just the right amount of char — and everything felt balanced rather than heavy. The simplicity of the menu works because it’s executed so well. Great energy in the space and efficient, friendly service. I’d absolutely return next time I’m in Denver.

Do yourself a favour and have the clam pizza. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The clam and pancetta topping with the roasted lemon is packed with flavour, the crust is thin and the edges are pillowy and perfectly charred from the wood fire oven.
The server taking the order was super friendly and nice. Lovely environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza perfection

The food was really great! So was the service and the whole vibe. I can’t imagine giving anything less than 5 stars. We got the oysters which were really fresh and tasty. Also the chicken liver mousse with the focaccia hit the spot!

The pizzas are pretty simple but the flavor was incredible! Will definitely be coming back!

Went and had a “daisy” pizza – the classic off which you can judge basically any pizza place – and it was awesome. Top it off with the fact that their late night happy hour made it cheaper than McDonalds? This will be the go-to late night spot for us hands down.
Pizza was delicious, and my husband ate sardines/bread, which he said was amazing with their black olive butter.

Restroom and tables were all clean and the patio was super cute. Staff was awesome!

New place to beat in Denver!

Fantastic wood-fired pizza, plus so many other goodies! The oysters are fresh and whoever shucked them – bravo, best I’ve seen in this state. Bread & butter is a must, and there are plenty of antipasto options. The pies are surprisingly filling for their size. We got the clam this time around and it never disappoints. The crust is a perfect level of crispiness and the center is a bit doughier – aka perfect. Staff is always friendly. There is some counter and high top seating when you first enter, a few booths, and outdoor seating on warmer days. Easily walkable, or you can find free street parking. Also open late!

Our go-to spot for YEARS.

Cart-Driver has been my go-to pizza spot in Denver for years, and it’s hands the best pizza in the city. The wood-fired crust is always perfectly chewy and crisp, and the flavors never miss. The Pepers pie is unbeatable, and the Daisy (Margherita) proves how perfect simple ingredients can be. I can’t resist the focaccia with olive butter—a must-order every time. Live their seasonal pizzas like the “Peach-za” with Palisade peaches, Brie, onions. Thumbs up from my girl!

The vibe is fun, the staff is consistently friendly, and the quality has never wavered after years of coming here. If you’re looking for the best pizza in Denver, Cart-Driver is it.

Gluten-free pizza here was delicious. It was sourdough crust and although it wasn’t gluten-free, it was still awesome. My fiancé had the regular pizza and he loved it even though he’s a pizza snob! Would go back, especially since it’s kind of airport friendly close so a nice place to stop before or after you pick up a friend. It’s counter order and stuff was friendly.
