We entered the Red lobster in Christiansburg for late lunch about 1:30. There were several active tables of diners but the restaurant was not exceedingly busy at that time. The wait staff appeared in a timely manner and took our order. We were told that those delicious biscuits were were in the oven and were coming soon which helped our appetite. We both ordered the weekday shrimp platter, which included shrimp scampi, alfredo and popcorn shrimp along with Chesapeake fries. After a long 25-30 minutes, we finally received our food. That seemed like a long wait for a restaurant that was not at all busy. The Alfredo was my favorite dish, as it was rich, cheesy and very tasty. The shrimp in my scampi was overcooked, and after one bite I noticed a chunk out of the ceramic dish. I brought this to the attention of the server and she immediately replaced the order. All of the food was hot and tasty, but very rich leading to some taste fatigue. I had requested my fries have no Chesapeake seasoning and they arrived without as ordered. The cheesy garlic biscuits were a real standout, soft in the middle and a little bit crunchy on the outside.
Overall the food was good and hot, the service was below average for a restaurant that’s not so busy, and the atmosphere was also average.

I had a great first experience at Red Lobster thanks to my lovely waitress, Tess! Tess was friendly and attentive, checking in on us often and offering helpful recommendations. I ordered the coconut shrimp (which came with a delicious piña colada sauce on the side) and the crispy dragon shrimp, with a side of hush puppies. My meal was delicious, as were the warm biscuits! Thanks, Tess, for the wonderful service and great dinner—I will be back!

Tiara was absolutely amazing! From recommendations, to service provided, to just her personality — it was awesome. We came to celebrate our daughters 13th birthday and Tiara absolutely made it memorable and even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this location for it’s delicious food, it’s spectacular service, and it’s atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Our waitress, Virginia at the Christiansburg location provided exceptional service that is unparalleled. You need to clone her! She’s dedicated to what she does and is personable and kind. We had to wait a little while because the kitchen got backed up but she was on top of it and kept us updated and brought extra biscuits. We were very satisfied with her and the service she provided. She needs to train new hires on the expectations and value of high quality service. She’s a keeper. She also deserves recognition for being so great and a pay raise..seriously..a pay raise.

An absolutely delicious lunch with our grandchildren (which were so excited about coming to Red Lobster). Our waitress “Q” was wonderful. I would give her 10 stars if it was possible. So attentive- good with the kids – and made sure we had drink refills and everything we needed.
Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The loaded baked potato was even better than one we have gotten in very expensive restaurants. It was truly “loaded”

They were absolutely slammed with a 3 hour wait, we had a reservation at 6:30 and got sat around 7:15…but y’all, it was worth it!! First of all, the manager that was hosting, Alyssa, was kicking butt flawlessly and with grace. She even had to run back to the kitchen to help on the line and still didn’t hesitate or waiver in her customer service and hospitality. This woman deserves a medal! The food was amazing, our server Sam was a delight and helpful, quick and I know y’all were all slammed but she kept that smile on!
I used to work in restaurants and I know how it is, y’all handled the busy night with grace and I WILL be back!
I gave Alyssa a valentine’s gift on the way out and told her how beautiful she was, and she returned it with a hug and asked me to come back.
