I was looking for a classy place to go to for my husbands Birthday in a small town. This was absolutely it. The setting was welcoming, the food selection was perfect, and the drinks were great. I loved that the dishes were not your usual finds for food. They were creative and delicious using local fare. We will definitely be coming back!

Went for the first time last evening since its reopening and was very impressed. I had ordered the pan seared Salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Robert was very attentive, accommodating and very professional. Very glad the present owners kept the original bar as that certainly brings back many memories of yester year. The ambiance and restaurant tastefully decorated and very cozy. Thank you for giving our community an upgraded restaurant to come and enjoy themselves once again for many years to come.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly the lighting perfect and the acoustics comfortable. Cocktails expertly crafted by the gregarious bartender Lee and the meals were exquisite . Chris and his crew have done a marvelous job reviving this memorable restaurant. Well worth the drive from Rochester.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Their prices are more than reasonable, for generous portions and stellar flavor, with something for everyone. The staff is perfectly attentive. The renovations are beautiful and the owner is very kind. I’m grateful to have Trombino’s back in this beautiful incarnation.

Maitre D at Trombinos is a relatively new restaurant in Lyons, NY. Patrons of the former Trombinos will find much of the original charm of the old restaurant with modern updates that make the space modern and hip. The decor builds on the history of the space as an opera house. We enjoyed the tour of the space by Chris V. who runs the restaurant. The artist created taxidermy-like mounts were created with amazing detail; each designed whimsically to look like they were attending a performance at an opera house. Very fun!
The menu offers a wide variety of choices that are considered new age american fare.It offers some of the traditional Italian dishes that were part of the former Trombinos restaurant but also some Asian and Mexican inspired choices. Much of the food is locally sourced.
Our meals were both excellent. The food perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Robert, our server, was knowledgeable about the menu choices, attentive and friendly. It was the perfect dinner out.
We can’t wait to visit again!

This was a fantastic find! Extreamly professional chefs and amazing care and concerns for food allergies and sensitivities. The owner actually served us drinks, and found out about my allergies, and personally made me a meal even though it was a buffet lunch! It was a fine dining experience yet it also preserved some of the local history!

Went here for the first time on Valentines day with my new girlfriend, we hot seated promptly, and ordered immediately. My girl only ordered a wedge salad with steak, I ordered an appetizer, salad and entree. My appetizer came out promptly, and was excellent, then my salad, which was very good, meanwhile, my girlfriend was getting extremely hungry, after I finished my salad, the wait began………………a half hour………………..another half hour…………………and another half hour before we finally called it quits and left. Right as we were about to leave, after repeatedly inquiring about our entrees and then getting the check, they brought us our meal out in to go boxes with the check for the full amount of the entire meal, sorry, not hungry anymore, too annoyed.
