My Server Maribel was great. She checked are id’s as she should. Took are orders without issues. Check on us throughout the meal without over doing it. So overall great service, I would choose her to be my server again.
The food was good had double crunch shrimp and double onion rings
The Drink was good don’t remember what it was called some valentines drink which I put down like it was soda.
This was my first time drinking at a bar and I had a good time.
Also If I could suggest anything about the Review site here changing the text color would be nice i think I’m on dark mode but it causes the questions down below to blend with the background.

I will share my latest experience, but this prompted after my parents experienced the same treatment me and my husband did when we were there.
If there is a hole in the building why are you sitting people next to it! I wanted to say something but opted to wait, observe and analyze. Why do restaurants still insist on going by old playbooks and sitting black and brown people by the bathrooms, kitchen, worse lit areas, out of main eye view of the door, windows but quick to throw us ins forgotten corners or underneath giant holes in walls! Old bias marketing strategies is what it is…insisting that certain people attract or deter business. I was pissed when that waitress sat us in the corner by ourselves under that black tarp as the air was howling behind us bc the wall was missing. While everyone else was in the middle section or by the bar, warm! I noticed clear differences between my party and others, visible differences to be exact. It was December 19, 2025, around 1-4pm… pull the cameras. It was only my husband and I, a party of two! There were plenty of booths, tables everywhere else in well lit and warm areas, we came in time for the lunch menu on a Tuesday! Customers aren’t always right I get it but morality, common sense and civility is still alive, we don’t see it much these days but it’s still out here. Unhappy clients, less clients, less clients, less cash flow, less cash flow, no business. If you own that location you need to know what’s happening to Do better. Go to the Rehoboth location. The staff treats EVERYONE respectfully and great service from the start. You don’t have to ask to be treated well. Honestly, Seaford location is where you go if you want to experience 1920-1950 dining. And so we’re clear, that wasn’t a great time for people of color. I’m done with this location! Put a trendy, modern restaurant in that building. NEXT!

I don’t do reviews, but I felt compelled with my last experience at your Applebees. My family had such a great interaction with Mick this week. Having been in the food service industry many years ago, I tend to have lower expectations more often than I would like to admit. I watched this man in and out of the kitchen, at the bar, and at tables so often in our hour visit that I thought he was an owner. When he stopped at our table and asked how our dinner was, I jokingly mentioned that “my wife thinks there was too much salt on the rim of her margarita”, and he quickly offered to correct that for her. When we emphatically told him we were joking, he replied “OK, we just want to make sure it’s right.” It was the “we” part that stuck with me. I asked the hostess on our way out if Mick was the owner, and she said, “Oh no, he’s one of us.” You have a great team there. We’ll be back.

My family constantly eats here – whether inside or to go. The food is delicious and staff is amazingly courteous. My husband is a veteran and this is one of the few businesses that gives veterans a discount for their service. Whenever I do have a complaint, only happened once, they were quick to rectify it without any complaints. Bravo!

Applebee’s in Seafood DE was Wonderful!! We were greeted as soon as we walked in with a cheerful hello and was seated right away. Within seconds we were cheerfully greeted by our server Drew. Drew was pleasant and friendly and was very attentive to our needs and the ones around us. While we were eating, Kelly, the manager, came around and even asked how we were doing. So, before we left we spoke to her to compliment her on our experience here. The service certainly reflected her great management. She was thankful to hear that. She was so sweet and kind.
I wrote this because we live in Hebron, MD. We use to go to Applebee’s in Salisbury, MD, but afrer 3 very bad experiences we stopped going there. The manager from Salisbury called and said he would send us a gift card. We said no, we just wanted you to know about the bad experiences we’ve had. He said he’d send one anyway and we could use it if we wanted to or not but he would still send it. We never got it. So, after a while
we decided to just try DE because we love their food and atmosphere. I’m telling you, it was Well worth the longer drive. We will definitely be back to this Applebee’s!

We had lunch at Applebee’s today. I have a shellfish allergy which always makes dining out a challenge. Our server (Lexa) was excellent at making recommendations and ensuring that my needs were accommodated. She provided prompt service and made sure we were well taken care of. Lexa is a gem.
