Cutie and I stopped in tonight during a busy winter day in December. We had a tad bit of a wait, but soon got a nice booth with a fantastic waitress, Bradi. She was polite and attentive, as well as helpful. We learned she’s newish to the job, and I must say, you’re doing fantastic! We both commented on the architecture and décor of the building; it’s classy and what you’d expect from a higher-end place.

Anyways, the food—ooooh, that food! First off, that bread they give you! Oh my my! That is the bread of kings! So soft and seasoned to perfection. Cutie and I loved it so much we got another loaf. Ripping off hunks and dunking it in the butter is heavenly! It’s incredible and significantly edible!

Next, I ordered the 16-ounce Gorgonzola Ribeye with a side of macaroni and cheese, while Cutie ordered the 12-ounce top sirloin steak with a macaroni and cheese side. Both steaks were cooked to perfection just the way in which we requested. Mine was heaped with mushrooms, onions, and Gorgonzola umami goodness. That juicy, tender steak was so darn delicious, and that macaroni was cheesy and creamy.

We ordered an alcoholic beverage each—our patented pineapple juice, Malibu, and a splash of grenadine—which was mixed expertly! We both couldn’t finish our meals and have enough for an entire meal leftover. That’s value, people!

Lastly, we ordered their large and delectable carrot cake with caramel drizzle and chocolate sauce on the side. It was so thicc and moist while being soft with a phenomenal flavor. We loved sharing it after our feast!

All in all, the fantastic service added with the wonderful atmosphere, multiplied by the best steak I’ve ever had—this equals an all-time meal for Cutie and I! This was our first time at Lucky’s, and we will no doubt be back for more! Much cheaper than we were expecting too! Five out of five!

Roaches everywhere! There are mice in the dining room. Basic food safety protocols not followed, open cuts bleeding into food, food dropped on ground served, no hand washing or glove changing. Food is kept past expiration.

Had to be a fluke, I always have a good experience here except for tonight. Ordered medium rare but it was medium well and rare. I spent more time chewing than I did enjoying the meal. Minimal flavor as if it wasn’t seasoned and it was incredibly dry. Beer was cold but almost no carbonation, the only good thing was the French onion soup. I don’t come here often but I think I’ll just stay local if this is what I can expect. I also mentioned it to the waitress numerous times that it was bad and I was unhappy and she finally just laughed cause even she knew this was a joke

Owners Do Not Care About Service!!!

We had a terrible experience the weekend of February 7th, 2026. We were treated rudely and the manager told me that I did not need to bother contacting the owner since they don’t really care and would never answer me. Well, I emailed the owner/manager at these two email addresses that this prompt won’t let me print here. That was a month ago. In that letter, I detailed the way we were treated and the outcome. I heard nothing. We will not be going to anything that these people own any longer. How hard would it have been to simply answer the email? I would be happy to share details if needed.

This was our first and last time eating here.

The menu is super outdated and shows sign of “wear and tear”, not to mention they were sticky and gross.

I tried the Georgia peach martini. It was ok. I would have liked a sugar rim or garnish of some sort… We got chicken quesadilla and the Mussels for an appetizer. The quesadilla was actually really good.. the mussels were flavorful but not what I was expecting. They weren’t the type of saucy that I would have liked (see pictures). We ordered the prime rib dinners (med rare, both came out med-well). There was no seasoning or dry rub on the outside of the prime rib.

My boyfriend got broccoli and loaded baked potato for his sides. His broccoli was ice cold and his prime rib overcooked. The only thing “hot” was his loaded baked potato.

I got the French onion soup for one side, which was delicious and mashed potatoes for the other side… no seasoning or flavor and they were ice cold also.

We waited almost 2 hrs for food, we went around 3:30pm… it wasn’t busy, we left around 5pm. The service was slow and ok. The manager did stop by because our server sent her over, but all she did was say sorry and she would comp our meals. I felt she didn’t “care enough to care”.

We won’t be back.

I’d say the place is a 4 on all counts. The bread served pre meal is like foccacia bread. My girl and I had the two types of salmon the New Orleans and Crab Stuffed. Of the two I like the crab stuffed more though it was very rich and sweet. The appetizer of calamari we ordered was just OK compared to others I’ve had, however, the size of the calamari rings were huge. I think the presentation could have been better as there were some sort of sautéed chilies or tomato on top (see the picture, looks sloppy) It could have been better with cocktail sauce or tartar sauce…maybe lemon. These are typically added for such dishes am I right? Also they were out of Malbec when I was there. So since my meal was half over I ordered a sweet dessert wine that was just so so in flavor. I did enjoy the outside patio.

We went there for a lunch steakhouse. They have a great menu with steaks, seafood, sandwiches, salads, and other things.
The service was poor and extremely slow but it may be due to our specific waitress because others tables were served much faster and with higher care.
I have to say the place is very inexpensive for a steakhouse. They served large portions.

Was visiting East Lansing again from the UP. Hard to get a quality steak dinner that far north unless you butcher your own steer and grill it yourself. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. I simply couldn’t find anything that wasn’t a stars! Really enjoyed conversing with Elle, my server, and will be back in a couple of months when I have to go down state again. Thanks again!

Went there with my friend and split the XL ribeye. Cameron was our server and he was excellent. Just enough personality and checking in to make us feel important. Steak was cooked perfectly and that Zing sauce they’ve got is amazing. We were able to get right in during dinner service and the restaurant was very clean. We shall return!

Large portions, great prices and excellent service, especially from the hostess, who wasn’t our waitress but stepped in/up to double as our waitress. Her name was Olivia I believe. I tried the prime rib and bbq ribs. Both were very good and my wife had the salmon. She said it was cooked perfectly. We liked this place so much we ate there the next day. I had the prime rib sandwich. My wife tried the check salad. It was huge. My sandwich was very good, very big, although the au jus was only so so, very weak. Still, the prices were very reasonable. We had great service.
