My first visit and have to say this place is ammmmaaaaaazzzzzzing! I started with the Wedge Salad, which is always one of my favorites, my guest has the chicken and dumplings. The food was great. We had the best waitress, she was on top of everything, but also so welcoming, friendly and very hospitable. It elevated the experience even more. We were sad to learn she was going to be leaving soon for another opportunity. They have great special, on Taco Tuesday’s $2.99, Thursday’s all you can fish and chips and evening dinner specials on Friday’s, and Saturday’s and Sunday’s. I came because rated 4.9 on Google and wanted to check it out. It was a good choice.

We ordered shrimp tacos, meatball marina, and bacon wrapped shrimp alfredo and they were all delicious. We topped it off with the pina colada tres leches which was amazing. The service was exceptional. We will definitely go back.

We had an incredible dining experience at Oscar’s Bistro! The filtered water was a refreshing touch with our terrible tap water, and the menu options were diverse and exciting. The flavors were outstanding, especially in the OG Ahi Tuna and the Berry Peach salad with grilled chicken—both the chicken and tuna were grilled to absolute perfection. Our waitress, Karlee, was pleasant, attentive, and quick to handle our requests with a smile. It’s so refreshing to have a new restaurant in Montgomery that isn’t Mexican food. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will be back many times! Highly recommend! PS: Loved the Deviled Eggs

The reviews are real! This is real food cooked by people who know how to cook and how to season food. Way to go, y’all! Impressive! This is probably the best local restaurant in the Conroe/Woodlands area. I wish they had a location like Outback… This place would be packed all the time. Fantastic service as well. NAILED IT! (This time that’s not ironic!) The ONLY thing I’d change… It’s really loud and echo-y which is stress inducing for me. I’d hang out here longer and spend more! (Rugs, curtains, and sound baffles might help in this space.)

I was in town from Austin with my business partner and we chose your restaurant for dinner last night—what a fantastic choice!
I ordered the pecan crusted flounder, and it was hands-down one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, with that delicious nutty crunch and flaky, tender fish inside. Absolutely amazing.
Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name—she was all smiles!) provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. The food arrived quickly and everything was timed perfectly.
We finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake to share, and let’s just say there wasn’t a single crumb left on the plate. The creamy texture combined with that caramelized top was pure perfection—such a decadent way to end the meal.
Overall, a truly great experience: delicious food, fast and friendly service, and a memorable dessert. Highly recommend—I’ll be back next time I’m in from Austin.

The wife and I drove in from Hunstville to try Oscar’s Bistro this evening. Everything we had was fabulous. Had the fried cheese and the meatball apps, both very good. The fried cheese is a very big portion too. Wife had the goat cheese & fig burger which she very much enjoyed. I went with the coconut & macadamia nut crusted chicken tenders and had to try one of his fish tacos since they were on special $2.95 a piece for taco Tuesday. Really good stuff and very reasonable pricing. The cheesecake is also to die for.

I waited a long time to write this review after our first visit when I realized that this is the first one that is not five stars. I really didn’t want to be that guy, but to be honest and fair to everyone out there, this was not a five-star meal.
Don’t get me wrong- this is a great little restaurant, with the nicest people in the world working there, and some outstanding items on the menu. My wife’s fish tacos were amazing, as was the giant meatball. But, my double smashburger was halfway between a regular burger and a smashburgerl. It didn’t have the caramelized edges of a true smashburger, so it was an overcooked pair of patties. Still very good, but not five stars. The fries…just not great. I requested extra crispy, they came out limp and greasy. I sent them back and they came out… limp and greasy. Okay. We had heard so much about the deviled eggs, one of my favorites, but they were sold out. Can’t fault them for that – the place was hopping.
We look forward to coming back and we think every kink that we experienced will be worked out and then some. The place has only been open a few weeks and it’s already one of the best restaurants along 105. Thank you Oscar and staff, you are a welcome addition to the Conroe/Montgomery food scene!

We were visiting the Lake Conroe area had a party of 6 that dined at Oscar’s Bistro after an afternoon of Pickleball. I had the Fig and Goat Cheese burger and fries. Everyone’s food came out on time. The food was served hot, and it was delicious. The fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was great. They have a wide variety of menu choices and I’d love the opportunity to go back and try more of their selections!

This was such a unexpected experience. I’ve seen post on social media about this little gem. I decided to give it a try today. Small location, but I think it is perfect for them. Amazing customer service. Their “Welcome in” was genuine and not forced or fake sounding.
The menu was simple yet complex dishes. I ordered the pork belly Ruben, customized to my taste. It was prepared perfectly to my liking. I will definitely return.
