I came here for dinner with friends on a Monday evening. The place was quite empty. We ordered a mango salad, shrimp paste on sugarcane, chicken wings, fried dough and the mixed brochettes. Food was very good though I was a bit disappointed with the fried dough. For dessert, we had the fried banana and mango « panna cotta ». They were delicious. The waiter was super friendly. Even though the place was empty, I loved the decor. I’m sure the ambiance must be better on the weekend.

123 Dzo Vietnamese Restaurant is a fun spot for a lively night out—great energy, neon-lit vibe, and a menu that leans a bit modern while still tasting true to Vietnamese flavors. The seafood dishes were the highlight: fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely balanced with citrus, herbs, and a little heat. We also loved the bo luc lac (tender meat, smoky wok flavor, generous veggies) and the da ga chien gion with a creamy dipping sauce. Drinks were a good time too—perfect place to come with friends and share plates. Service was friendly and quick, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. Would definitely come back.

The food here is fantastic – good broth for the pho, and a wide range of small sharing plates with lots of Vietnamese street food options. But the cocktails here are phenomenal! Generously boozy, delicious, and beautifully presented. About $13 each, and well worth the price. We went to celebrate a small victory and it was absolutely the perfect place to do so. Would recommend! 🙂

We enjoyed an amazing meal this evening. We ordered several items, but my favorite was the “Shaking Beef”. I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable. Four of us dined for $163 (before gratuity), which included the cocktails. Can’t wait to visit again!

What I really like about this place is that it has Vietnamese beer drinking food. It’s not the type of food you can get easily at restaurants in North America.
The nuoc mam wings, the skewers, and the shrimp mango salad were all fantastic. 10/10

The cocktails were excellent! I had the “shaking beef” that came with rice and was delicous (if you like salty). The papaya salad was very good and came with strips of sweet and chewy beef. My boyfriend had vermicelli with chicken brochettes that were a little dry. Overall, a nice experience.
