We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Kevin Rathbun Steak and would easily give it 5 stars. We were celebrating our anniversary, and our server, Melissa P, truly made the night special. Her service was outstanding—our water glasses were never empty, she was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and she even surprised us with a complimentary dessert.

We ordered the cowboy dry-aged ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor, with just the right amount of delicious fat that made every bite melt in your mouth. We also loved that you can order half portions of sides, which were reasonably priced and a great way to try a variety. The creamy mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were definite standouts.

For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding, which brought back memories of loving it during our trip to the UK. It was the perfect balance of hot and cold and wonderfully indulgent.

The service overall—from Melissa and the rest of the staff on the floor—was fantastic. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The ambiance inside is low-lit and romantic, making it perfect for a date night or special occasion. Portions were generous for the price, and we left feeling extremely satisfied and impressed. We can’t wait to come back!

Great experience overall. Even the valet service was impressive with excellent customer service. The bar made a great first impression, our server Amber was accommodating and attentive, the vibe was relaxed, and everything we ordered was delicious—especially the lobster bites, blue cheese wedge, steak frites, and Brussels. Would definitely recommend this steakhouse.

Wonderful! We had called ahead to see if they could accommodate us as our 6pm reservation time was getting delayed in the ATL traffic. The general Manager, Doug, who had taken our phone call, greeted us with his professional yet friendly and humorous self and told us that we could still be seated on this busy Friday night! Our server, Allison (apologies if I chose wrong spelling) and her support team were equally as great! The food and drinks were amazing, beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area, it will not disappoint!

I dined at here on Valentine’s Day and had an excellent experience. I ordered a 10-ounce ribeye oscar style with the jalapeño creamed corn, and the meal was outstanding. The jalapeño creamed corn is one of their signature side dishes and was recommended by our server, which is why I chose it, and it did not disappoint.

Even though the restaurant was running a bit behind due to the holiday, the front-of-house staff and management handled everything exceptionally well. They checked on guests multiple times and made sure everyone felt accommodated and taken care of. We even received a visit from back-of-house management to ensure our meal met expectations, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Our server was attentive and professional, helping create a pleasant and memorable dining experience. The service was great, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and I would definitely return.

My boyfriend took me to dinner for my birthday on 12/23. The restaurant’s ambience was elegant and festive. The food was “meh” in my opinion. But this review is mostly centered around the service I received. I don’t remember his name. But I can describe him, he was a bald, heavyset white man. He greeted us at the table and poured water into our cups. He walked away, and I noticed there was something on my cup. When he returned, I asked him to get me a new cup, and he assured me it was only condensation. I told him again, sir, that I would like a new cup, and he repeated that it was only condensation. At that point, I said, I know what I saw. I want a new cup, and he finally walked away and grabbed me a fresh cup. He should have just grabbed the cup the first time I asked, instead of debating me.

My boyfriend and I ordered food and cocktails, and he did a good job of making sure we were tended to. Towards the end of dinner, things changed. We had asked for a to-go box, then had a brief discussion as he was turning away, I reminded him about the to-go box again. He turns to my boyfriend and says, “Man, is she always this sassy?” and I’m just taken aback. As a black woman, sassy is used as a microaggression term, and I felt away in the moment. I didn’t ask to speak to management because dinner was over. But I was very offended that he was bold enough to disrespect me, and the fact that it was my birthday made it even worse.

Came here for dinner after strolling the beltline. We sat at a table by the bar and walk-in was easy. We tired the short rib skewers, foie gras and a side sampler (not on the menu). I didnt love the foie gras but everything else was delicious. I’d definitely come back and try a few more items.

An incredible meal!
For those of you with gluten allergies — or worse, celiac disease like myself — I can’t recommend Kevin Rathbun Steakhouse enough. They offer plenty of options and have a knowledgeable staff. Amber, in particular, was so helpful and sweet. She even spoke with the kitchen to ensure precautions were taken to avoid cross-contamination (as much as a restaurant reasonably can).

I only had a 12-hour overnight layover in the city, and this place had me falling in love. Not to mention, for a steakhouse, the prices were truly reasonable. They even offer half portions of their sides and salads, which was perfect for a solo traveler.

After an ice storm delayed my birthday dinner plans the previous weekend, my wonderful girlfriend finally took me out to celebrate and wow, what an unforgettable experience it was. In my opinion, when you go to a fine dining restaurant, you usually get one or two of the following: great service, a pleasant atmosphere, or fantastic food but rarely all three. Kevin Rathbun Steak managed to deliver on every front, setting a standard I’m not sure any other restaurant could surpass.

We had a late reservation (9:15 P.M.) and chose to sit in the cellar. When we arrived, there was just one other table, but they left shortly after we received our drinks. It felt like we had our own private dining room intimate, comfortable, and incredibly cozy.

Our server, John, was absolutely exceptional truly one of a kind. We followed his recommendations, and I’m so glad we did. Everything he suggested was outstanding, and his service was impeccable. If you’re lucky enough to dine here, I hope you have the pleasure of being looked after by him. He deserves every bit of praise.

I genuinely can’t wait to return. I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin Rathbun Steak to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience. If I had two more hands, I’d give this place four thumbs up.

Hosted my first Destination Dining event here at Kevin Rathbun Steakhouse and they didn’t fall short. Let me start by saying that dinner was more like an experience. Our reservation for 7PM was ready for seating at 630 when I checked in. They seated my party of 17 diners together and with ample room to move about. Service was swift, seamless and consistent. Once ordered, drinks, appetizers, and entree’s arrived at a flowing pace and at no time was our beautifully talented sever Antranae, ever gone long enough to be missed.
Food was DELICIOUS, well prepared and fulfilling. I just have zero complaints about this experience. Hats off to the staff and Events Manager Aaron Wysocki who set this ball in motion. Where would I have been without you.
At the end of the night, dessert was served and they made sure to include our Destination Dining into our dessert spread. Again, I had 17 people in my party and 3 days removed, I have yet to hear a complaint and this is me speaking to and interacting with everyone who was in attendance. I could go on & on & on but why waste your time, just go hungry and see for yourself.
Based on the quality of food, service and attentiveness, I assure you when you look at the menu, it’s priced appropriately and worthy of the hype and accolades. In closing I will simplify my review to one sentence. Kevin Rathbun Steak delivered above & beyond and did not disappoint.
