This place was such a great find! We saw the signs on the highway for a Mexican restaurant and found it easy to pull in towing a travel trailer at the parking lot next door. We sat outside on the amazing covered porch. The food was exceptional! Fantastic ambiance! Very good service. Nice presentation. So glad we found this restaurant.

It wasn’t like any restaurant I have eaten out and this is the 2nd time my girlfriend and I have too since the pandemic started. The wait was very good but the food was not good . My enchiladas i ordered was literally covered in lettuce. If I was a rabbit I would enjoy it but I need to taste the food not hide it

Terrible place to order from.DO NOT ORDER.FROM THIS PLACE.
I placed an order during lunch break. I get to my office and it’s the wrong order. I call the place back and a rude wan by the name of ROCIO says I can replace it if you bring back the wrong order. I reiterated that I was at lunch break and can’t leave because it’s now past my break. She suggests that I pick up the food but only if I return the wrong order. I then politely suggest that if they pay for Uber to pick up the wrong order they gave me and to drop it off and pick up the new order that it wouldn’t be a problem. ROCIO then says ” then what do you want to do GIRL” I kindly reminded her that you do not refer to customers that way and that she can drop off my order at my location SI ELDER LAW office. She proceeded with I can drop off your food at 4pm when I get out of work. Having said this very unprofessional, very rude and disrespectful. I will never place an order from that restaurant and hope that the owner gets wind of this and reaches out with an apology. Never have I experienced such interaction with a restaurant employee instead I’ve had great experiences at way better restaurants.

I used to like this place but the food and service was not good this time. Cheese quest was like flavored water.the nachos tequila was salty and just not appetizing. When I mentioned to servers they said no one else complained. No offer of money off or sorry about food. I won’t be going back especially since I was overcharged.

The carné asada plate was delicious. The meat was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The beans were tasty. The rice had great flavor, but the texture was to pudding like for my taste; I like for my rice not to stick together into clumps. The tortillas felt like they were freshly made.

Our server, sorry I didn’t get his name, was so delightful. He even had A-1 Steak Sauce for my Dad. And we almost left my purse at the table when we left. They chased us down in the parking lot. Good was delicious

We stopped here on the way to Chicago and the food was fantastic. The salsa and cheese dip were to die for. We got the fajitas for two and they brought out a lot of food. It was seasoned well and very filling. Our server was extremely good as he checked on us constantly and kept bringing us chips and drinks. I’d highly recommend stopping in for good food and service.
