My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Sexy Steak. Beautiful restaurant, very chic with great decor. The food was excellent, we got the Caesar salad, surf and turf, a chef’s special which was a fillet mignon with red wine glaze and crispy onions, drinks and desserts. Our host, Ryan C. Was very professional and friendly making this whole experience amazing. The other staff and personnel helping and checking on guests were amazing as well. Highly recommend.

We traveled here from Toledo, Ohio, we came for my boyfriend’s birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with so much kindness and respect. The atmosphere and the vibes are phenomenal, They treat you so nice and they’re so attentive, but not overpowering. This was our first time coming, and I have no complaints. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts because of how beautiful it is. They even give you a warm towel at the end for your hands, We had an awesome time and will definitely return.

Moved to the Toledo area last year and one thing I’ve really missed is having great steakhouses to choose from. For Valentine’s Day we decided to make the drive to Detroit and booked dinner at Sexy Steak and I am so glad we did.
This was easily a top three dining experience for us since moving here. I’ll be honest, Detroit isn’t my favorite city and I’ve only been truly impressed by the food scene maybe once before, but I can confidently say I would drive back just for this place.
The food was phenomenal, the vibes were exactly what you want for a date night, upscale but still fun, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. Service was stellar from start to finish and made the whole night feel special.
And I have to mention the lobster tail. One of the largest I’ve had in the Midwest and cooked absolutely perfectly. That alone was impressive.
Also, the bathroom vibes deserve their own shoutout. Very Insta worthy, fun, and somehow everyone is in there talking in the most non obnoxious way. I even met a new friend in there that night. If you’re looking for a sexy, elevated dinner experience that’s actually worth the hype, this is it. We will absolutely be back!

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is very elegant and the customer service is outstanding. Our server, Henry, did a wonderful job of explaining everything on the menu. The food was exactly how we wanted it prepared and it was some of the best steak and lamb chops we ever had. We were 25 minutes early for our reservation but got seated right away. Our evening started with our waiter Ryan, personable, friendly and very knowledgeable guiding us thru the menu. Our appetizers started with jumbo shrimp and the crab cakes. So delicious we forgot to take pictures.
Ryan suggested the Cesar salad prepared table side. Very nice portion and one of the best Cesar salads we’ve had.
Ryan recommended the wagu ribeye for my husband. He didn’t need a knife to cut and it just melted in his mouth. EXCELLENT choice if you’re a meat eater. I chose the surf and turf with the filet. Nice size lobster tail and the filet was cooked perfectly. Our whole night was made perfect because of Ryans attention to detail and making us feel welcome.
We finished our evening with the fried oreos. A great way to finish a perfect meal.
We didn’t know what to expect but could not have asked for a better wedding anniversary dinner.
We will be back, not only for the food and ambiance but for the excellent service by Ryan!

We had an amazing experience! When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and the entire night the service was impeccable as it was a team work environment. Dina was our server, and was very good and explained everything to us and was attentive all night! She was great! Henry also was helpful and very nice as well with good conversation! (Thanks for the pictures) Luis the General Manager came by frequently to check on us! Noah, also was very nice and kept the table clean and fresh water!
The food was amazing. We had the shrimp Diavolo as an appetizer which was delicious ! We also had the 10oz Filet Mignon, butterfly style, medium, as well as the famous Caesar salad, and the Pasta Cardone! Excellent presentation and was very good!
To drink, we had the Rosemary smoked old fashioned, margarita, Italia and Le Volte wine- all fantastic!
From the service, to the food, to the atmosphere it was a very amazing place for dinner!
Just a heads up, they do add the gratuity automatically at 20% and ask for additional on the final bill if your service was exceptional!

The tableside Caesar salad was hands down the best I’ve ever had, and every dish we tried was outstanding.. the corn, carrots, Carbone pasta, tuna tartare, and spicy shrimp were all delicious and beautifully presented.
To top off the evening, the stunning birthday dessert platter they brought out for the birthday girl was both gorgeous and incredibly tasty the perfect ending to an amazing celebration.

Feb 17th…Out on our Anniversary. Let me start by saying that the food was really good and so were the drinks.
My issue is with the dinning room manager / floor manager. Made reservations last week and still had to wait an hour for a table.
My time is valuable and apparently this establishment doesn’t believe that. You would have thought a complementary glass of wine / champagne from them not timing out a table would have happened but it didn’t. Instead we waited at the bar bought drinks and had to uncomfortably wait while being constantly asked if we wanted to purchase more drinks. Let just say that it soured our mood for the night. I will not be a returning costumer.
I’ll be sticking with the Whitney for my Anniversary next year.
