Gabriel was a fabulous server tonight. I travel often for work as a robotics engineer for a faang company. This by far has been the best steak I’ve had in a long time and also the best service I’ve had in a long time. Reminds me of the Delmonico experience I had in vegas. Tysm. 100/10. My wifey was even happier than I was was with that amazing ginger pear bourbon tini!

My, my, my!!!! What a gem on the PNW coast! Gabe was an absolute treasure of a person. If you’re their manager, that good person deserves a raise! They made our experience top notch! Whomever is slangin’ plates from the kitchen is one hell of a talented cook!!! Not to mention the fantastic bartender whipping up such tasty cocktails!

Had an amazing dinner here. Wife had the French dip and I had the Seared Shi Tuna and a bowl of chowder. It’s hit or miss when I order seared tuna at places but this place hit the mark perfectly. Loved the sauce and wasabi that came with it. The clam chowder I have to say is in the top 5 I have had too. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was amazing too. Loved how they backed each other up. Too many times it is only the waiter/waitress who seems to care about our table and other staff will walk by while we need refills or plates cleared. Not this staff. They took care of us regardless if they were our waitress or not and how busy they were. Keep up the great work and tasty food here!!

We escaped to Long Beach for a much-needed trip. Castaway’s was a highlight twice! Even our 11-year-old said she “rates it a 10 out of 10.” Our compliments to the chef(s)! So much care and artistry was evident in each of our dishes (mid-rare steak and seared ahi were perfection and our kids loved the Ciopinno). THANK YOU. We are so appreciative of your skills and effort! And our server was nice and prompt each time we came (lunch and dinner–different days). Keep it up, guys! You’re rockin’ it better than some upscale, large city places. We’ll be back for sure.

The calamari was excellent. We both had the Forager burger for lunch and it was excellent. The atmosphere is a great vibe. We’ll be back Friday for the prime rib.

Had a few drinks and ordered the scallops and tuna tacos—both were solid choices. The scallops were delicious and cooked perfectly. The tuna tacos had great flavor, though the tuna could’ve been cooked just a little less. Only downside was a few fruit flies around, which got a bit annoying.
Overall, the place has great vibes, friendly energy, and we’ll definitely be back.

Nice selection. My grilled tuna salad and chowder tasty and composed well. Clam linguine was very well done. Pan fried oysters which I tried a taste of were great. ( Menu for basket said fried but they pan fried)

Food was delicious.
Server was kind and quick, as a server myself I was quite impressed.
I got stuffed gnocchi which was delicious, and my husband got prime rib which was yummy too.
Whatever they do to the butternut squash puree its AMAZING.

Castaway’s is very nice with beautiful soft lighting and modern decor. The bar and restaurant are separated, but you can easily walk between. Non-Intrusive live music was wonderful. The service was 10 stars but not stuffy, very approachable and friendly. The food and presentation are carefully curated. The steamer clams, crabcakes and clam chowder were stand out amazing! It’s an upscale restaurant in the heart of rustic Long Beach, super close to the main beach access.

We ate here on a Saturday night and it was packed. We had the pasta and Salmon Bowl. It was delicious. The mocktails were amazing and the Carrot Cake was perfectly done.
