I jokingly refer to this is the slowest McDonald’s in the world. I’m not sure what the real problem is at this location, but 20 minutes or longer to get a fast food order is simply not fast food. Staff seems miserable and clearly haven’t been trained or coached in friendly, smiling service. While it’s a convenient location for a travel stop for me, I honestly prefer to get a snack at the Shell gas station next door.

Me and my friends all % believe that this is the best McDonald’s location in the whole state!!! It was well worth the almost 2 hour drive from Grand Rapids. The food is always fresh and hot the service is the fastest ever!! And the staff are excellent and extremely friendly.

We went here yesterday morning for breakfast. It was incredibly busy and they were very short staffed. The cashier (she wouldn’t give me her name) was incredibly rude from the get go. She was kind of heavier and had blonde hair. She took the order ahead of me at the register and then left myself and about 4 other people behind me to wait to place our orders for over 20 mins. There was a young boy who was an employee there that came in early for his shift so he could eat breakfast. He already had his food ordered and was waiting. Just like everyone else. The cashier very loudly called him out in front of everyone and told him he needed to punch in early and get to work. He said he was waiting to eat and she said she didn’t care. Then she proceeded to go out to her car and smoke a cigarette. Marty waited for his food still (all of the customers told him that was bull shit and we didn’t mind waiting so he could eat. We were gonna wait anyways) and when she came back in she told him to get to work. He didn’t and she went and got some other lady who came out and yelled at him to clock in. By now, the customers are standing up for Marty and telling these people they can’t treat him like this. So then the cashier told him to get on the register right now and start taking orders and he wasn’t even clocked in! He finally did get his food, as did the rest of us. But this place treats their employees so terrible. No wonder why no one works there. I called their corporate and I pray this kid gets an apology and a free meal. I have a video but it’s like 45 mins long and not worth the aggravation to me. The drive thru girl was very sweet. I didn’t get her name either but she had glasses and brown hair in a ponytail. She was helping with the front when she was waiting for her stuff at the drive thru. I know I’m not the only one who called and reported this. It’s a shame and I hope they get a better manager. Who, by the way, was never seen this entire time. Shannon.

The woman at the 1st window was rude when I mentioned i had a code for the mcdonalds app. She said I needed to mention it at the speaker before I ordered but she never even asked me for the code at the speaker. Then at the 2nd window, I politely asked the woman if she could dump out some of the ice in my drink because I had asked for light ice, and was charged for it. She then said “I would have to stick my hand in the drink and scoop out the ice”. This was such an unnecessary comment. So outlandish and ridiculous. I could hardly believe she said it. I simply asked her to dump some ice out…it didnt seem like thst crazy of a request and then she rudely responds like that? So off putting.

This McDonald’s has really went downhill. Last time I was there waited 45 50 mins. For a 20 piece chicken nugget. They gave me the wrong food. So turned around went back .waiting another 30 minutes window to tell them. they took back give it me a 20 piece finally..go to eat one of these extremely costly hard-earned nugget. they are the grossest coldest undercooked nuggets that were slimy! Today I went there for breakfast. They tried giving me somebody else’s stuff again after Cindy big blonde was rude amazing don’t care attitude won’t be back!

Insanely bad experience. Arrived at 1:40 pm on a Sunday afternoon, went through the drive thru. I paid via the app, but was not given a receipt. Was pulled through to a ‘Wait for food’ parking spot at 1:52 pm. At 2:18, after waiting for more than 25 minutes, I went inside to see if I had been forgotten. The manager on duty told me I needed my receipt, but refused to help me when I told her no receipt had been given to me. While I waited for help, I commiserated with another customer who was experiencing the exact same issue but who had been waiting for 35+ minutes.
Floors in the bathroom were covered in human waste, and the only soap was an industrial size unlabeled bottle – and the hand dryer wasn’t working. I have zero clue how this location hasn’t been shut down by local health departments or McDonalds corporate. Schulz family, you should be embarrassed.

To start my order was entered wrong. Trying to do anything about this was going to be useless though. They got rid of the pop machine and condiment station so every customer that needed anything had to form a massive line at the counter. It was going to take 15 minutes to even speak to someone about my order let alone get a refill before I left. I hope they are glad they saved 3 cents on my pop refill….they have lost any future business from me.

Went thru the drive thru. The lady taking our orders kept telling us to hold on after every item( almost like she couldn’t keep). Got to the window they told us to pull forward and they’ll bring it food out. They forgot one of our sandwiches which was part of the combo meal. Went inside and the manager was at the front counter but didn’t acknowledge anyone. She tried to walk away. When I told her I was missing my sandwich she said she had to check the drive thru receipts. She acted like she was mad because her crew couldn’t read a simple order. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Will never be back.
