Stopped by Ray’s Pizza on 7th Ave and it definitely hit the spot! Classic NYC slice with that perfect thin crust, crispy bottom, and cheesy top. The sauce had a nice balance — not too sweet, not too salty.
Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the location is perfect if you’re walking around Manhattan late at night. Open till 2AM is a big plus.
If you’re looking for a legit New York slice without breaking the bank, this is a solid stop.

In an area where you can find pizza at almost every turn, you have to try Ray’s! Had the plain and barbecue chicken, both were perfect. Can’t wait to order from here again!

Ordered a pizza with mushrooms, onions, tomato and olives and picked up a pizza with broccoli, eggplant, tomato, onion and spinach. My son doesn’t eat spinach and broccoli, so I called to let them know of the error. The woman on the phone proceeded to “explain” what veggie pizza means and said they’re not responsible for this, as I placed the order through Slice app. I told her that I went to google maps, selected Order pickup and paid for the order and that my son is allergic to spinach. She continued to put the blame on me in an extremely rude tone, started yelling at some point, taking zero accountability. A simple apology would be sufficient. But this attitude goes to show how much they care about their business and customers. Terrible experience.
P.S. looks like there are several reviews with exact same order and same terrible experience. Take your business somewhere that cares about you.

Order arrived more than 1 hour.
Pizzas were COLD mozzarella sticks came cold, salad came soggy.Sodas never arrived.
When called to ask about the soda – the answer was: yes, our fault but I’m not sending you a driver just for the drinks (that I paid for !!!!) and I’m not refunding you for that!!
For years I ordered from Ray’s this is just unbelievable and disappointing)
(Probably entitled teenager that her parents made her work there and get Educated about work/job and money.)
For the owner: please do something about her because she makes you lose a lot of customers.

Please make sure you are aware of this place before you get their food. And check prices. Have been going there since they open. But I’ve only been going a few times a year now. Because….
They actually think that they can get away with charging people an extra $0.50 for a can of Arizona iced tea that is marked 99 cents. That is outlandish and it is against the laws in the state of New Jersey.
The word is already spread through the town and other towns around a few years back. Kids aren’t even going there on their lunch break anymore. Good luck guys keeping it up in Cresskill…

First things first service is trash, talking to customers like they are stupid is a no no. First time here and last time here. Wanted to try a slice before I committed to by 2 more for my lunch but they have a crazy card minimum here and usually I’m fine with that but there was no other option like adding a dollar or something. Once I got told at the counter there was a card minimum and I didnt meet the 5 dollar minimum they took my food out the over and put it back for sale. Straight trash if your thinking about stopping here for lunch and your not from the area DONT

I was walking past the store last week and this week and I saw again that the store is closed but this time I saw a terminated sign on the door if you are closed permanently you should have a sign on the store apologizing that you are permanently closed and you should change your google business add to being closed i have put in the segustion and luckily it was was accepted but it’s not nice to deceive people

PROS: The atmosphere of this place is the most Italian out of any other pizza place in the area. The prices are the same here like any other pizza joint and they have a lot to choose from on the menu. During high school lunch, I see a lot of kids going over to Ray’s making it a great hangout for the youth. The bathroom is very clean and staff is quick with your order.
CONS: Where to begin…. The quality of the food is not that good. The pizza is thin and tastes like it was pre-heated, the pasta and meat seem like it was frozen rather than fresh, and the tables are never clean. Parking is limited in a lot around the back or on the small street. They’re counter girls don’t even seem like they want to be there. But the worst thing about them was that they failed their satisfactory report multiple of times.
OVERALL: This is a cute place to go to feel like you’re in Italy and the menu along with their prices are the usual for a pizza joint. But they are not clean and the quality of the food isn’t there.

Love their buffalo chicken and BBQ chicken slices. Their grandma’s slices are also very good. Good selection of sandwiches and pastas, i really like the Chicken Parm sandwiches from here. Owner and staff are friendly, best pizza in town by a good amount in my opinion.
