We wanted to have bowls for lunch, so we decided on Pollo Tropical. From the menu, we got the Classic Chicken Tropichop, Mac n Cheese, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy.
Our order arrived in 5 minutes! First up, we tried the Tropichop bowl. It was alright, but something was missing. That’s what made it a bit disappointing for us.
The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy were okay. Our lunch at Pollo Tropical was also okay.

Pollo Tropical is really not what it used to be. No sauce bar, no drink bar, and the prices are way higher than they should be. The quality has definitely taken a dive—I paid $40 for two 1/4 chicken meals, and honestly, it just wasn’t worth it. Really disappointing overall; I wouldn’t recommend it.

We wanted Hispanic food but places we were trying were closed so this was the closest place to us. Service was fast easy and nice. Table we sat at was a sticky but we did see a young lady mopping and cleaning so she may have just missed our area. The food was okay. It was food, my girlfriend didnt really finish her food the only thing she did think was memorable was the mango drink they had there. It was really good. My food was nothing special but it filled me up.

Beans and rice as good as anywhere. Served through a drive through window. And they are no slouches when it comes to speed of service. And, the inventory is always on point. Never been let down by missing items yet. That means alot to me. Nothing worse than getting where I’m going to discover missing items. The chicken and beef are delicious, I cant speak on the pork because I didn’t try it. The sauces are delicious. I really like the garlic and cilantro sauce.

Place has gone down hill, waited 15 mins for my meal. Asked for saucec Received no sauce. Rice was mush, meal comes with two scoops of guacamole which I didn’t receive. I use to love coming here.

The food was ok but the service was terrible. The person who was taking our order was incredibly rude, past the point of being tired (which i would understand.) To the extent of borderline-mocking us for not knowing which sauces were available. The food was not worth dealing with that. I always try to give customer service workers the benefit of the doubt but there was no excuse for this. It wasn’t even busy.

Cashier was very under enthusiastic. Portions are decent. Restaurant was clean.
I’d love to recommend that the drinks be self serve and the sauces be self serve. When it gets busy, MULTIPLE people have to stand in line for refills and sauces. All that congestion just isn’t necessary.

Just went at the drive thru and came back home and they forgot the order of my wife, and they forgot my sauce…. On top of that I had to wait 20 min for them to prepare the chicken. Very bad service!
