Willow Tavern is a great spot in Cedarhurst with an awesome vibe and genuinely friendly staff. The place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or unwinding after a long day.

Just a heads-up for anyone visiting — it’s cash only, but the service and experience make it well worth it. The team there really takes care of you, and it’s quickly becoming one of the neighborhood’s go-to spots.

Highly recommend stopping by!

The Willow Tavern is a true Cedarhurst treasure with over 115 years of history—and you can feel it the moment you walk through the doors. It’s more than just a bar; it’s a local institution where everyone feels like family. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready with a smile and a great drink.

The atmosphere is cozy and full of charm, blending old-school vibes with modern comfort. One of the coolest features? There’s a pool table in the back that sits where a horse stable once stood decades ago—a quirky, historic touch that reminds you just how deep The Willow’s roots run in the community.

The drink selection is fantastic, from ice-cold beers to well-made cocktails, and it’s the perfect spot to unwind after work or catch a game on one of their TVs. It’s the kind of place where locals gather, friendships are formed, and good times are always on tap.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or spending the night with friends, The Willow Tavern is a classic that never disappoints. Here’s to great drinks, great people, and a century-old legacy that’s still going strong!

Cash only. Cash only. Cash only. They will pour you a drink before you warn you. Had to walk 2 long blocks to the ATM because we didn’t want to pay all the ATM fees. Maybe it is a New York thing. Have no idea.

The genius bar where you BYO food and focus on the drinks. The pours are generous, the vibe is laid-back, and no one judges your pizza delivery mid-pint. It’s like a picnic with a bartender. Pro tip: bring good snacks to match the great drinks!

I’m a huge fan of small town bars. Love this place and the Vibes it carries with it. Something about uncommercialized bars that I love. They have a pool table which isn’t the best but definitely does the job. Pool is $2 a game. They have cheap beers in tap and also had UFC on which is a huge plus.
