Had an absolutely amazing experience here for the first time! Came with my boyfriend with intention to find a filling meal. They definitely didn’t disappoint. Their portion sizes were wonderful and food tasted flavorful. If you’re looking for a good burger— COME HERE! Unfortunately, we had a problem with our cocktails but staff were very quick to find a solution and better our experience. Liquor here is high quality and their beer goes down smooth. In love with their visually pleasing and TASTY cocktails Decorating is beautiful and definitely fits a tight cozy pub vibe. Lots of seating options both indoor and outdoor which I appreciate. Bar staff is lively and place is always bustling. Can for sure say we’ll be back regularly to try out more of their menu ❤️❤️

Where do I start here. First we walk in, moderately busy but not terrible. Takes a good 5 minutes before a server comes to take our drink orders, but only brings 2 waters for our party of 4. My kids want the Mac and Cheese, which is $7.50 and has a description of creamy and cheesy, so I’m like “yeah let’s do that, bar Mac and cheese is amazing.” The waitress asks my kids if they want fries with it, and if it’s okay if it’s in the same basket. Kind of odd, but maybe just being eco friendly reducing packaging. Wrong. So wrong. She asked my children if they wanted to BUY fries to go with their $7.50 Mac and cheese, which turned out to be Kraft (or generic Kraft for all I know) in the smallest bowl ever. They charged me $8 for their fries. I’ve attached a pic of the tiny bowl I would expect peas to be served in that housed the Mac.
I ordered fries and cheese curds because who could mess that up? Plus I got the Tuscan fries hoping for a good cheesy salty garlic seasoning. Both were so bland I thought I was coming down with COVID. Since my kids were still absurdly hungry after their tiny bowl of Mac, they tried them and my 8 year old daughter immediately says “these don’t taste like anything.” Neither did the fries. Has nobody at this place heard of salt? Glad I didn’t spend upwards of $20 on a burger if they managed to ruin fries and cheese curds.
Go to use the bathrooms, full. But there’s signs everywhere saying “MORE BATHROOMS DOWNSTAIRS!” From when you walk in and all over inside. I try to find the stairs. A cook comes out, “you don’t want to go down there. It’s flooded with sewage.” SEWAGE. They are on top of the river valley! Absolutely foul.
The server then comes over to me and watches me pay and enter my tip on her handheld device, after not coming to see us, refill our drinks, check on the food, nothing. I tipped $3 which was 300% too much just because she was staring me down.
I worked in the restaurant industry for 11 years, I know it’s hard out there. But this was the most disappointing, predatory, overrated, and downright unacceptable experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Y’all out here doing the “millennial craft burger restaurant” trope to the extreme. How embarrassing. I want my $50 back.

Ordered the Jack Daniel’s burger and sweet potato fries. The meat was not cooked to temperature and was very dry. The fries were good. The next order was the shrimp, calamari and fried vegetables, this order was a bit oily also had a dish filled with calamari and 2 shrimp.
Overall dining experience was okay.

Came in for lunch and it was a great experience. Tim was my bartender/server and he was very helpful and nice, easy to talk to. The Rueben was delicious and the fries were perfectly crispy. The first time I went here, I had the buffalo chicken salad and that was very good as well.

Our Family of 6 wanted burgers so we said why not for their Monday 7 dollar burger special. We had the blue cheese, Jack Daniel’s and the kobe burger. We all felt the patties we very under seasoned and cold buns. But for 7 dollars it was OK. The Buffalo wings had a cruch and was very good. Cheese curd and fried were also on the warm/cold side. Service was good except towards the end. Waited 20 plus minutes the tab. It would be hard to come back.

The burgers and wings are great here and the specials are some of the best in the city. Mondays any burger $7 you can’t beat that anywhere. They also have a wing special on Wednesday. This is definitely one of the most underrated spots in St. Paul for some good bar food and a drink. The patio is also very underrated.

The website didn’t clearly advertise that there is a limited menu when there are events in the area (ie concerts, games, etc.). There is an event menu- but this felt misleading as I thought this was for events hosted by the venue, but not events are in the area. Some clarification on this could be helpful. While having a limited menu is not the worst idea as a business and the food service was quick, it greatly limited meal options available especially if you have dietary restrictions. Food was tasty, but seemed over priced for what was served.

Line burger was spot on! Fresh bun, delicious juicy burger with some quality wings.
This place is spacious with pleasing aesthetic and spacious patio. I bet during the summer this place is bumping.

Their burgers are huge and amazing.. They have a lot of gourmet concoctions. I’ve tried the sky bleu and the Jack Daniels burger both so tasty! On Monday nights, they have seven dollar burgers with fries… such a value

In the heart of downtown St. Paul, Burger Moe’s is a short walk to many popular spots like the River Center, Science Museum and Treasure Island Center. Several surface lots nearby make parking easy, even on game days. Ample seating and large tap list. Great happy hour and friendly staff. Burgers are decidedly average, lacking in any flavor. With many other spots nearby, Burger Moe’s needs to step up its food game to keep up with the competition.
