Very good and extensive menu.
Staff members were very friendly and spoke good English.
The food was excellent and priced reasonably. The background music was smoothing.
I had the lamb and potato curry with Basmati rice, a garlic naan and some house wine.
I will definitely return for more.

Worst Indian food experience

I would honestly call this the “Worst of India.”

Unfortunately, this happened on my birthday. I chose to leave quietly, otherwise I would have seriously asked to speak with the chef.

The first thing that disappointed me was the difference in treatment. Foreigners were treated warmly, while Indians were clearly treated with far less attention and respect. I traveled all the way from Germany and experienced this on my birthday, which made it even more disappointing.

Now about the food — it was terrible.

– Palak Paneer: Watery, tasted like green chilli paste, and had barely four pieces of paneer thrown in. It didn’t taste fresh at all, more like old stock reheated.
– Naan: Extremely sour.
– Chicken Tikka: Gooey, soggy, and clearly not proper chicken tikka pieces. Very poorly prepared.

As someone who understands Indian food and cooking, this was honestly shocking. The dishes lacked freshness, flavor, and basic quality.

What makes it worse is the price. Even Annadana Seva, where food is served free to hundreds of people, is prepared with devotion, care, and dignity. Here customers are charged premium prices but served food that feels careless and old.

Food deserves respect. Whether someone is rich or poor, everyone depends on food to live. Serving such low-quality dishes while charging high prices is simply disrespectful.

If fresh food is not available, just say it honestly and suggest alternatives. But serving food that feels like leftovers is unacceptable.

With more than 2000 good reviews, perhaps the restaurant feels it no longer needs to care about quality or feedback. If that’s the case, it’s unfortunate.

I truly hope the management reflects on this and improves. Food should always be served with honesty and dignity.

Karma is boomerang. God is watching. Be sincere and honest and ensure quality in serving food.

Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely love this place! The restaurant is very accommodating and considerate of your preferences, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. We tried the Chicken 65, Andhra Chicken, and Dal Tadka, which were all bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. The garlic naan and Palak garlic tandoori roti complemented the meals perfectly. For dessert, the falooda was a delightful, refreshing finish. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the warm, inviting atmosphere. If you’re craving genuine Indian cuisine in Paris, this is a must-visit spot!

The food was absolutely scrumptious, bursting with bold, flavorful spices that made every bite memorable. For those who prefer milder tastes, there are delicious non-spicy options, so everyone feels welcome.

Portions are impressively generous, definitely a plus! The service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, and truly welcoming.

You’ve earned a loyal customer in me, and I can’t wait to return with my community. A well-deserved 5 stars!

We’re a family of 4 with young children and visited the restaurant for lunch before getting on Eurostar to head back home to UK. Everything we ordered was of the highest quality, succulent chicken, such authentic flavours and a very friendly and polite staff made out experience enjoyable!! My kids loved the food too! I can vouch to come back same place every time we visit Paris! Thank you for your service and nice food.

This is my second time, but I want to give suggestions, I went alone to eat and the food was good but before finishing my food itself the waiter kept bill on the table which basically means that he wants me to leave the restaurant. Normally if the restaurant is full and busy than it’s fine to do so as the people might be waiting but there was no rush and the waiter was trying to indicate me to leave as soon as possible which I felt un ethical . So due to this reason from next time I will try to avoid the restaurant and try some where else were customers are welcomed not let go fast . It’s a genuine request fromy side kindly dont let this happen with other customer.
