Reviews
1. The food – you know it’s off if you need to add salt to Chinese food. I spit out more food than I consumed. Temps were non existent. Meat was dry. Seafood was off. Stale ‘crispy noodles’ for the egg drop soup. Even the fortune cookie was stale. Got sick. Yay me.
2. Employees- everyone stayed on their phone. Waitresses. Hostess. Cashier (who never spoke, no one asked how the food was either nor if we needed anything.
3. After going to the front desk to pay we noticed a collage of printed screenshot pics from their cameras, taped together/side by side like it’s a public notice. (Pic attached because I was beside myself) I’m assuming it was non paying guests. We paid, tipped, but will not be coming back. I understand why so many people walked out without paying.
I do not like to make bad reviews, my review history will prove that. But take this as a warning if you are traveling, there are many other options near by that will talk to you, appreciate your business, give great service & not make you sick.
We didn’t worry about a refund. It’s just a lesson learned.
The serving tongs were filthy and unsanitary, and there were no covers on any of the food, leaving everything exposed. The overall cleanliness was alarming. This place feels like a health hazard waiting to happen. Someone is going to get seriously sick eating here.
Most of the items on the buffet line looked like they had been sitting out for hours. What should’ve been hot was lukewarm at best, and several dishes were dried out or just plain unappetizing. The sushi tasted stale, the fried items were soggy, and the carving station was unmanned half the time. Even basic items like rice and noodles were overcooked or bland.
To make matters worse, the service was indifferent. Empty trays weren’t being replenished quickly, and when we asked about specific dishes, the staff seemed disinterested or confused.
The dessert section looked promising, but appearances were deceiving. Most items were overly sweet or tasted like they came from a supermarket freezer.
At nearly$20, I expected much better. There are plenty of other buffets that offer fresher food, better variety, and a more enjoyable experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or good value.
I arrived around 6, and while some dishes tasted fresh, others clearly had been sitting all day. Their practice of mixing old trays with new ones means the flavor varies depending on whether you’re getting bits from the old batch or the fresh one.
That said, I’m not mad at it for the price (which doesn’t include drinks, by the way). Just… stay away from the soups. They look questionable.
Visit this place especially if you are visiting around.
