Ate here for breakfast twice, spending a long weekend in LC. The food was so good. Portions are huge, so go hungry or plan to take some home. Sourdough pancake was so good. Definitely recommended trying. The homemade breads were very good too. The dark molasses was very interesting and I really liked it. Staff is very friendly. Place is small so during peak season expect a wait, but definitely worth it. On our second time there, they still had the banana bread french toast special. Was amazing.

We tried the Otis Cafe on a recent trip to the beach, although I have heard of them, we have never actually ate there until this trip. We were pleasantly surprised, the atmosphere was welcoming, kind of what I would describe as nothing fancy, but comfortable sort of a small town cafe where tourists, as well as locals eat.

Our waitress (I wish I had jotted down her name) very efficient, attentive, and friendly.
The food was incredible! Huge portions! I had the Breakfast Chicken Fried Steak and eggs, it is presented on a large platter one side is potatoes, the other was the meat and gravy the portion was so large I took more than half of it back to our room and made two more meals out of it. The steak was crispy on the outside, and tender inside, the hash brown potatoes were fresh cut, not frozen and perfectly done, all very tasty. My daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered a grilled cheese and turkey sandwich, and a cup of chicken noodle soup both very tasty.

The prices are very reasonable, it was the most enjoyable, and inexpensive place we ate at on our trip. I would highly recommend the Otis Cafe, and wouldn’t hesitate to dine there again.

They are worth the wait. amazing food. loved the german potatoes, the molasses bread and the cinnamon bun was soft and flavorful the whole way through! My only critique is that it was very loud. i don’t think there is anything they can necessarily do to fix that but it is worth noting for those that are sensitive to that you may want to get yours to go or eat outside.

Always a solid place to eat. After spending New Year’s Eve at the coast, we wanted some great food to fill up in before our drive back to the valley. We used to stop at their little spot in Otis all the time. This is the same great food and atmosphere in a larger setting. We were greeted immediately and seated. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious and the coffee hot. Portions are larger and selection is great. I’ve never regretted stopping here for breakfast or lunch.

Oh you have to check out this place for breakfast in Lincoln City! Amazing! Home cooked, home baked bread (must try the black molasses bread/toast.. it’s incredible.) They hand shred their hashbrowns. The staff are genuinely happy, high-fiving each other, smiling.. so welcoming. Fast, huge portions, clearly made from scratch, just loved this cafe on 101.. don’t miss it!

First time since they moved locations. Great place to enjoy a wonderful meal. I ordered the chorizo scramble, amazing. Came with hashbrowns and toast. I ordered a side of bacon, was well cooked and yummy. All in ALL very impressed. Gatta be or one of my favorite breakfast places to eat time to time.

I had breakfast at Otis Cafe the other day. I had an Omelette with hash browns and toast and it was very tasty.
Although quite crowded, so I chose to sit at the counter. I was seated fast and my order was placed in a jiffy. And the food came very quickly, I was very surprised at how fast my food came with such a crowd.
Nice atmosphere, one of the cooks was singing in the kitchen and the employees genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves as they worked. Which adds to a happy kinda breakfast atmosphere. Anyway I will definitely be back. I’m anxious to try their burgers.

Not only are portions amazing but the food is outstanding plus the service is excellent- Jorge is exceptional at his job…which appears to be everything but cooking. You can’t go wrong with the Chicken Fried Steak! I’d rate Otis Cafe a 10 if I could.

This is a great classic diner. The homemade breads are fantastic. My husband thoroughly enjoyed an omelet full of fresh chanterelle mushrooms (even though it was also full of raw white onion, which took away from the dish). The only disappointment was that we didn’t bring a large enough cooler with us to bring a pie or cinnamon rolls along on the rest of our trip.

Otis Cafe is hands down the best brunch spot in Lincoln City. It does get busy really fast, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Thankfully, we arrived at the perfect time and didn’t have to wait long at all. Our order was taken shortly after we were seated, and compared to others around us, our food came out pretty quickly. The service was great and efficient.

We ordered the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, sunny-side-up eggs, molasses bread, and subbed the hash browns for their famous German potatoes. The chicken fried steak was seasoned to perfection—crispy on the outside while still juicy on the inside. The sausage gravy was very flavorful; you truly don’t need to season this dish at all.

The German potatoes are essentially Tillamook cheese with onions and green onions on top. I’m not usually a big cheese fan, so it was a bit much for me personally, but we wanted to try it—and I did love the onions mixed in. We also shared one sourdough pancake, which surprisingly was so yummy and just the right size for sharing.

Everything was super flavorful, the portions were huge (even sharing, we couldn’t finish everything), and the prices were very reasonable—around $31 total for all of this. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Otis Cafe to anyone visiting Lincoln City.
